RE:REQUEST to people who post to rediff.

It is a good line, but sadly not true. People are the same everywhere. It is their beliefs that make them what they are. Afghans were buddhists for a thousand years. There were no beheadings of non-buddhists that time or whipping of women for not wearing some paricular kind of clothes.

Once again It is people who interpret the religion savagely who make it look bad.
Take Turkey for example. It has western law and is a western style democracy. There women can dress as they like and Turkey does not believe in Sharia. They are a secular country with Christians, Jews and atheists.
Although the Turks did behave savagely sometime between 1914 and 1918 when they killed hundreds of thousands of Armenian Christians which was WRONG.
Like I said, a Muslim can interpret his religion savagely and behave like Osama Bin Laden or he can interpret his religion humanely like Dr. Abdul Kalam.
In the FINAL ANALYSIS, It is man who maketh the difference in the way he wants to follow his religion.

Do you know any community in India who demanded a ban on Da Vinci code and rioted in Hyderabad? (Hint -- it says "our god is true, your god is false.")
Hi Mirror, I would request you to stop trying to prove our hindu bro's wrong or right. I would like to know if ur muslim and indian. I really doubt it because it is pretty late in india and muslims need to wake up by 4:30 am at ramzan and i cant see a muslim being awake in india or pak at this unearthly hour. If u are an indian please stop this for the sake of our motherland

Saif bro, this Paki ISI agent 'mirror' is based in US near Washington area. He uses vaious ID's such as Fox, Tomcat and variuos Indian and Hindu identities while trolling our forums. He even goes to Afghan forums posing as an Indian hindu and badmouths about Afghans and Islam there to turn the Afghans against India.

Yes i pity Mirror and Pritish, you'll are probably frustrated by the abuse but fighting is not the solution it only aggravates things. Let me tell u this mirror. If u think someone abuses ur faith leave it that person does not deserve ur energy in trying to fight with him , if u keep quiet he himself would go away
Thanks but No Thanks ! dude its not in my blood to talk nonsense abt anyone or anyones faith,... Rediff board knows me coz I'm kind of veteran here,... go check !

what was the need for him to say that...let him say some negatives in Khoran...in public
I am surprised to find my messages have been flagged when I just mentioned about how beef-eating abolished from India as a result of economic need. If we do not want to study history and our religions properly, rediff will be hijacked by the communal vandals. I urge rediff authority to take a close look at the people who are flagging even rational postings and disturbing genuinely motivated bloggers.

It is not a question of being weak. It is being not stupid and get sucked into divisive arguments and abuse by falling into the fishing trap laid by our paki ISI friends such as 'mirror'.

By verbally abusing and trying to handle such ppl we are showing that we are weak
Lets we will be inviting more wars, external and internal, by playing into the hands of the politicians. Pls wake up... know that no one is perfect in this world... including ourselves, so instead of arguing and making hateful gestures pls spend time in thinking what good can you do to the society or yourself, not by hurting someone, mentally or physically. Be human first, after all we are all humans first.

You one cheap man I tell you. Whatever faith you follow, it is sad for that faith that it produced narrow minded moron like you. People like you will neverever understand real meaning and message behind religon. I wish you good luck as human, hopefully you will not turn into religious fantics or become a victim of it
In RG Veda, the ancient of all the literature and language, the guests used to be called 'Goghno'--meaning one who will be offered meat from the cows. Hindues stopped eating beef as an assimilation of Jainism into Hinduism. Later days of texts in Hinudims banned beef because of growing agricultural expansion needed cow. Essential teaching of Hinduism is that of pantheism--they believe there is God in everything, in every animal. Hence, meat eating in Hinduism is discouraged. But Vedic texts have ample example of beef being eaten by the Hindus--that is a fact and I read all those hymns.
