this makes lot of sense. Much better than to believe that all these stories were to be taken literally. People lived then were much more intelligent since they did not waste their time watching crappy tv porgrams and reading useless trivia.

If BJP is communalising the issue, CPM can secularise it, but no body should cause offence to Hindu sentiments. Hindus are most abused in this country because they do not constitute a vote bank. They are divided amongst various castes, sampradays etc. A hindu vote bank has become a ncessity. No body speaks for Hindu cause exscept BJP. Where should Hindus go . Should they drown themseves in the sea so that protagonists of secularism are happy.
