This is the most appropriate time for Pranab to visit the US. The opposition of the Left to the Deal is well known in the US. Taking that as a plea, Pranab will be in a position to convince the US Administration for those concessions, which may be placed as appeasing the Left.
None in the Administration has said that Hyde Act is irrelevant. And if it is active, which is so from all possible angles, US must tell as to how they are proposing to circumvent the Act. It is a Poser to the 123 Deal. And no one can deny that. Definitely and Deliberately, the US has kept mum so that the Act can be used, on a future date, to her advantage. And this is not the only contentious issue.
Definitely, under the sugar coated cover, there is a pill. But, the 123 Deal will be a great advantage for the US in numerous ways. They would not waste the opportunity now. And they will not say know to Pranab, if he makes appropriation Requests.
