Good to hear these words of knowledge, for everything we have to look whats profit we are getting not simply rejecting.Nuclear power is a gap fill not immediate but for our future generations when coal, water etc natural resources become scarce.Understand and make a way to progress our country in this sector. At present we are lagging far behind.

This old man of 90 plus is still sensible and knows theier should not be blind anti americanism. one should oppose american impealism. country should not compromise on its foreign policy. but if we can get nuclear energy and this deal can open the doors for us to the nuclear energy world then what is the problem. this same cpm always been oppose to blast but not to energy. jyoti basu the veteran is still sensible and looking ahead, but that fool karat is looking back to the carl marx time.

jyoti basu's comments were right. the nuke deal is of mutual interest to both USA and india....USA didnt approve this nuke deal for charity but for profit and india also will gain by poducing more power.....hope that communists would see this nuke deal in a practical way not anti-imperialistic ways......
