Bombay has migrants coming from all over India to find work. Bengalis and Calcuttans leave West Bengal in search of work all over India.
f India don't seal this N-Deal then it will be impossible for India to get Uranium for new or old Nuclear plants. Without signing Nonproliferation Treaty India can't get Uranium for Nuclear plants from any country in the world. Australia has the world 60% of uranium reserves. And without USA concern no one in the world will give uranium to India. It is the best time for India to use USA and get uranium from his allies, after 20 -30 years India become so capable that it would not need USA for Nuclear plants

This old man of 90 plus is still sensible and knows theier should not be blind anti americanism. one should oppose american impealism. country should not compromise on its foreign policy. but if we can get nuclear energy and this deal can open the doors for us to the nuclear energy world then what is the problem. this same cpm always been oppose to blast but not to energy. jyoti basu the veteran is still sensible and looking ahead, but that fool karat is looking back to the carl marx time.

well said jarnail singh. All right thinking people with some honour left in them are with you on this statement.
Congratulations! The ex-Chief Minister understands the essence of the issue and speaks business. No one will ever put India in a bag and carry away. Energy is for progress; let it be Nuclear or anything else. When we do not have the financial/technical resources, let us take it from the people who have it plenty.
So the media speculation that Communists in Bengal are not endorsing party general secretary Prakash Karat's strident postures is true. Thank you for the confirmation.
When CPM Politburo scrapped Jyoti Basu's dream of becoming Prime Minister in 1996, he called the Politburo's decision as a Himalayan Blunder. Another "Himalayan Blunders" out of Politburo... Expect more !!!!!!!!!!!
Yes,He is correct. This man at this age is very sensible. Out left party in Kerala and ather states should learn from this gentle man. They should stand for the contry not for the party!!

West bengal has dropped from Number 1 to 15 in terms of Industrialised States of India. All During CPI Raj. Most of it was during Jyoti Basu as CM. West Bengal is going down hill every Year.
