To find out, whether the sand bars at Rameshwaram are man made or not, we need not do any research at the site.
But let us read bit of Valmiki Ramayan!
Valmiki Ramayan says (yudha kanda), the Nala and Monkeys constructed a bridge of 100 yojans length and 10 yojans wide. One yojan is about 12.87 kms. This means that they constructed 1287 kms long and 128.7 kms wide bridge. But distance between Rameshwaram and Mannar (including Ramar sethu) is only 21 kms.
According to Valmiki Ramayan, Starting point of Ram's bridge is near Mahendragiri - that is close to Kanyakumari, and not at Rameshwaram.
Further, Valmiki Ramayan says, Ram went on top of Mahendragiri, hoping to view the Lanka - where Sita was prisoned. However, the sea was so huge, he could not see the beaches of Lanka-it adds. Mahendragiri is as tall as 5000 feet, and about 5 kms west of the ocean. Normally, with this height, a person can comfortably see a place situated about 70-80kms far - despite the earth's curving effect.
In addition, suppose, at Rameshwaram, if there was a mountain as small as 400 feet, Ram would have seen the Lanka - comfortably - because the distance is very small. But, there is no mountain near Rameshwaram.
In addition, it is interesting to note that %u2018yudha kanda%u2019 explains the star%u2019s position of the sky - when the bridge construction work started. It talks about a Rasi %u2018Sabtharishi Mandal%u2019 surrounding the Dhruv star at the North Pole. Sabtharishi Manda

First of all Rama and Ramayana is a story and its a myth.
1.According to the period Mentioned by ramayana, at the same period there were no islands in indian ocean. Infact indian subcontinent was stretched deep below till the current MADSAGSCAR country of AFrican continent. Later due to the geographical changes indian subcontinent was shrinked and islands were formed in indian ocean. (If you dont know this, better read the geography of the earth.) This clearly shows that there were no Rameswaram islands and srilankan islands during the period mentioned by ramayana. So Ramayana is a story.

CHECK THIS AS IN YOUR COURT (WHICH COUNTRY?)IT MAY BE USEFUL: Evidence of ancient human activity on Ram Sethu Scientific evidences point to human activity in ancient times on both sides of Ram Sethu (the narrow sea between India and Sri Lanka) as found by Dept. of Earth Sciences and ocean technologists of Bharatam. The Geological logging of the bore holes drilled in the inter tidal areas of Ram Sethu reveals very interesting details. In all the bore holes the top portion is seen to be occupied by recent marine sands. In almost of all the boreholes between 4.5 and 7.5m the borehole intersected hard formations, which have been found to be calcareous sand stones and corals. It is to be pointed out here that Corals are comparatively less dense, compact and somewhat easy to carry. The Corals normally grow atop compact to hard formations for the purpose of stability, and as the sea level rises, the Coral colony grows up vertically to maintain water depth of 1 to 2 m, which is essential for their survival. In the case of Ram Sethu area, we observe that the Coral formations hardly occur 1 to 2.5m in length and resting on loose marine sands. Most of these coral rock pieces are seem to be rounded pebbles of corals. These things appear to point these coral rock pieces and pebbles have been transported and placed in these areas. Since the calcareous sand stones and Corals are less dense than normal hard rock and quite compact,

probably these were used by the ancients to form a connecting link to Sri Lanka, on the higher elevations of the Since the calcareous sand stones and Corals are less dense than normal hard rock and quite compact, probably these were used by the ancients to form a connecting link to Sri Lanka, on the higher elevations of the Ram Sethu ridge and this is analogous to modern day causeway. In support of these observations there are many archaeological and geoarchaeological evidences on the south east coast of India around Rameswaram, Tuticorin and the western coast of Sri Lanka. There are raised Teri formations that supported a rich assemblage of mesolithic%u2014microlithic tools indicating the presence of strong human habitation and activity in these areas as early as 6000 to 7000 years BCE and as recent as 2000 years BCE. On Sri Lanka side there are indications of human habitation extending to late Pleistocene (about 11,000 BCE) based on bone and fossils of human and animal form. All these point to a flourishing human activity on both side of Adams Bridge and probably when the sea levels were just right the link between India and Sri Lanka could have been established.

Use your obsessive energy to find out the truth for I see that you are more enthusiastic than me to know the truth. Keep it up & revert back with the answer. Communists in India watched Soviet union crumble along with all the east european nations, still they bank on communism. They are still obsessive and look forward to China and cuba. When there is no proof and still one believes in something then it is called a Hypothesis (as long as he is in the process of getting proof) and not a myth. Where is Danushkoti now? It was a place near Rameswaram and went under water in 1970 due to a change in Climatic condition and washed away is under water by cyclone. There was a lot of Tectonic activity in that area and the above water Ram setu has submerged. Do you meant to say Rama existed after Dhanushkodi sink under the sea.
As Dhanuskodi which sink under the sea during 1970s is invisible and even archeologist and scientist couldnt trace this town under the sea.
But you say rama's bridge is still there under the sea. Whether Rama existed after the destruction of DHANUSHKODI? whether rama built the bridge after DHANUSKODI sink under the sea waters?.
