Sethu bridge is not a holy site. Its not a temple, church or mosque. Its a bridge no evidence if its man made or natural formed. There are historic evidence of Tamil Kings fighting war against Ceylon(Srilanka) and trade between Tamilnadu and Ceylon.

NASA has estimated the age of the bridge which is nearly equal to the age of Ramayan.
I wish our politicians do their home work properly before embarking on contentious issues.Whether the Govt. likes it ot not it has to take everyone onbord before proceeding with this project.Same applies for 123 Agreement also.The Govt. of the day is more responsible and expected to pepper over differences prior to initiation of emotive issues.This was not expected from Manmohan Singh's government.I feel let down on these issues.

And compare the acts of these Sonia Maino & Company with that.

Never trust a person who has his eyes always covered with sun glasses. After all the eyes are the windows to the heart of a man. MK is a myth & really he does not exist.Need a quick burial.
It is sad that Karunanidhi, being the Chief Minister of TamilNadu,is making the Historic Places unpopular in his own state.
It is essential for all state representatives to have awareness of all Historic Places and should protect them for attracting the tourists all over the world.
Please note that Hindus are proud as India is listed among the Wonders of the world though it is a Tajmahal.

It is those jobs that you say, that is culprit of contention.
What british did was to change the history of India starting with an aryan dravidian history. this is a big conversion. This mindset is what makes people fight... and look for unfair oppurtinities in outer world than introspection.
I think we should try to throw away the imperial policies, while acknowledging all the history.
