Look - this is a matter of faith and it helps people get rooted on to something. I think it would be foolish on anyone's part to argue with people who such faith because frankly I think it is none of anyone's business. That I guess is every sensible person's view.
The entire drama is nothing more than politics of upmanship - BJP has found an agenda to project Congress as being anti-Hindu, DMK has found an agenda to cement its "anti-Aryan , anti-Hindi/Hindu" credentials and Congress is in the process suffering from collateral damage. BJP does not dare to attack DMK or Karunanidhi because they don't want to burn bridges for future coalition - so it is easy to attack Sonia and Manmohan - as they would be always on the defensive as they are not Hindus. In any case - attacking Dravidian movement openly would put BJP out of reckoning in Tamil Nadu and would put its collaborators there in extreme danger.

Mike u have given a great message. I would like to add few more points. We all know that God is a supreme powerful being which cant be limited by anything. Here a question arises - can there be many Gods? if there were more than one god the each god will limit the other. As such he will not remain all power. Therefore the concept of many God is logically incorrect. It is the human which has defined god as Ram shiva Allah Jesus etc but the fact is that he cant be defined by any shape or form bcoz any shape or form will again limit it.

Concept of god can be explained by another simple example. Let us consider ur telephone no which is fixed. Now anyone can call you whether by a mobile or landline or WLLL or internet phone etc . Irrespective of his medium and different no his call will be directed to you only bcoz ur no is fixed. Similiarly god remain one though medium of reaching to him may be different like hinduism Islam christianity etc

The problem with akash is that he thinks two akash will oppose each other inherently. The problem is he can't distinguish bewteen the concept of 'sweet' and sugar itself. Anyway, mankind will forget all these logic of our ancestors once the concept people wage their war successfully.

One more quetion arises here- if all medium(religion) reach at same place then why there are so many fights and trouble between them.. i will say the main reason behind that trouble is a basic error done by some religion or person and that is there thinking that only there form of god is true and other are false. This concept spread hatred among religion and it is sure whichever religion adopt this concept will not remain in peace

That presumption is because you might be influenced by sickualrists who try to sell hindusim for promotion and awards in humanity streams. Two akash don't limit each other, however thats not the exact logic.
What the brokers don;t say that their mind is limitted too. They get such a kick by assaulting hinduism, that they think Ram is limited, and their mind is not.

When Karunanidhi was trying his racial identification, Sai Suresh ( A Tamil) of rediff was talking sub-nationalism in his articles. Ofcourse none of the sickular sepoys are equal and given any knowwledge than how to appropriate Indian culture, so Sai Suresh( Rediff columnist) would never have found the devious designs of racial dravidian theories nor the colonial context of sub-nationalism. Sai Suresh ( Rediff journalist is upper-caste according his confession and has been anglicized in chennai institutions).
At the Age of 83 one should be practicing altruism, but iam really surprised a being like Karunanidhi who claims to be agnostic,afford to hurt the feelings of crores of Hindus. He can be non-believer of God we dont care. But can he utter the same with other religion. He will face Jihad. Let us not keep swallowing these dodgy blabbers henceforth. Karuna is a Hindu and he has the freedom to say what he feels like. If you don't like what he says - you have a right to counter him with your point of view. If I am an Indian - I will only question domestic policies of India - why the f should I be bothered about say economic policies of Bangladesh ???? If you want to behave like people of some violent religion which do not like to debate and question - you are welcome to convert.
Let me explain Hinduism to you first: The essence of Vedas say "Ekam Sat, Vipra Bahuda Vadanti" - The truth or God is one, wise men call it by different names. We call it Brahman - The supreme Being. To know the unknown, we represent it by idols. Hindus know that whatever God they pray, it reaches the ultimate. That's why we are secular by blood. That's the reason we go to church, consider allah as god too. A pond can be reached by four different steps leading to it. All paths lead to the same pond. The followers of this Dharma (Sanatan Dharma - Eternal concept) were worldwide. The aborigines of Australia still worship a God called Siva who has a third eye and is smeared with ashes. Who else can it be?
Now kaliyug starts: It is said :'KALOU KALMASHA CHITHTHAANAM' meaning 'In Kaliyuga all minds are impure'. New religion starts springing up. What Jesus said is lost and the saints come up with 99% of the bible (Have you read the Red-letter bible?) to erase the Sanatan Dharma and come up with just one religion, one path and one god. They say all other Gods are fake, all paths are false, only God Jesus exists (Is he God or Son of God??). The same goes with Muslims. The problem starts when each one says there is only one God and that is my God.
That;s the reason we have Crusades, 9-11 etc etc. No Hindu killed any other person to convert him to follow Hindu gods. Because as I said, they respect other Gods by nature of their preachings and from birth.

Continued.. THIS BIGGEST STRENGTH OF HINDUS IS THEIR BIGGEST WEAKNESS. No chritian or muslim is secular, if they are then they cease to be christian/muslim as it goes against their preachings. They name others as Heathens/Pagans/Kafirs.
I am talking now to christian converts, the earlier Hindu : Please understand the concepts of Hindusim. If you have any doubts, clarify it from Gurus who are experts in the field. Or read from Books. Guess you are a tamilian. If so, read "Artham ulla Hindu matham" by the great lyricist Kannadasan (earlier atheist, became theist). And then think of converting to other religion. Read what Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi have to say of conversions. They hated it intensely. Changing religion is like changing your mother. Can you ever think of such a thing?
Now dont start typing in haste and out of impulse all your Hindu bashing statements. I am neither a Hindu, RSS, VHP , Bajrang Dal guy. I am a Christian. But, I would rather call myself a Sanathanin. Follower of Eternal Dharma. Follower of Vedas. The true Knowledge.

People should realise why Hinduism is the longest religion- because of its flexibility. It would live forever.Beleive in this great religion and have the mind to tolerate others religion.
btw people like Karunanidhi would suffer due to his adharma! He is an old wicked man! and would meet his end that suits his evilness!

Oh. Mike and Peter U are greate and my brother in thoughts.I am a christian but I was converted at heart and covinced in mind that only Hinduism is the last destiny of peace,spirituality,love and truth.It is the highest flight of thought and truth. while reading some parts of Gita,Upnishads,Vedas,shankaras,Budhas,Swami Ramtirtha,Dayananda,Vivekananda,Aurobindo, I fall many times into trance,spurts of smadhi. While teaching Physics in my college I support the phenomenas like Quantam-Mechanism,'Light has no colour of its own',Principle of Uncertainty, and ;Dual Natur of matter'with the hindu thoughts and phylosophies of the above granthas.
