Drop a small nuke bomb on Siachen so that the nearby atmosphere gets radioactive. The bomb sgould be big enough to deter further infiltration but small enough to retain whatever flora-fauna resides there.

Where does the question of Pakistan leaving Kashmir arises?.It does not have any hold in Kashmir.Kashmir was in India and will remain in India.

From your writing , I am imagining you to be a kashmiri.May be someone who drove out kashmiri pandits. My advise to you is, stop daydreaming , buddy. You have neither the means nor the brains to fight India. You are living on the crumbs we throw at you. So show little more gratitude.

Yes. Kashmir is integral part of India. I don't know who institute the feeling of kashmir as a independent country. It is the divide and rule tactics applied by pakistanis.

Return all the money India has spent.Who wants Kashmir?Go to pak/china .Kashmir is a bad investment with negative returns. If India leaves Kashmir ,it will become another Afganistan.

Kashmir was the place of pandits ruled by hindu king after the independence... So, now it's time has come to give justice to those pandits.

To Shivarama Krishna: We cannot give anything that is demanded by Pakistan. First Kashmir, then what ? Remember it was Pak which supported the "independence" of Khalistan by supplying weapons to the terrorists. It is regrettable that people/soldiers have to die.But the big picture is that everyone who gave up their lives, died for something they believed in ie. Kashmiris are Indians.

What we do in our country is our business and not of those papi pajamas. Anyway, I am already selected to be in the first civilian batch to the Siachen glacier.

Its India's business, u r very right!!! But think about the importance of CONSERVATION of it for our future generation. Tourism there means inviting pollution dirctly or indirctly..Don't be so slef centered plz.
At the outset its a good strategy from India. Since long pakistan was asking for a troop cut in Siachin. India yarning for some relief from the dilemma that it is loosing soldiers because of extreme whether condition, and cost to maintain such a check point, while can't miss it as it is strategically important place to have some advantage against Pakistan. Also constant worry on when Pakistan may attack us sneakingly.
Making it a tourist or sports point India can prove the world that it is India's land and in the name of protecting tourists India can maintain troops near by and have constant visit to Siachin.
Well I may be wrong. Just have to wait and see how many tourists are really ready to trek in such a dangerous place.
