They are spreading panic and superstition in society. The Ram Sethu was one example of their sensationalisation and inciting the masses. Priya Ranjan Das Munshi must pass the broadcast bill immediately so TV channels
1) do not show same stories again and again 2) do not show any program which is agains constitutional requirement to promote secularism 3) TV will not allow anyone opposed to secularism to come on TV 4) TV will abide with government guidelines which issues related to religion or caste come up in public domain Most English channels abide by the above code - but Hindi channels promote superstition and are anti-secular . They incite masses to get higher TRPs. I watch both Hindi and English channels and this observation can be certified.
Priya Ranjan - please wake up before it is too late. The recent case of Hindi channel making a fake sting is just tip of the iceberg.

This bill will be passed - whether you like it or not. A few channels are already on the list and will be banned for a few months soon. Things have gone out of control. Even US and UK have FCC which implements this code strictly.

n India the 5 % Brahmins rule over 95 % of the Indian population. In South Africa 15 % Whites rule over the 85 % Black race. Does India then have any right to point an accusing finger at the apartheid policy of South Africa when the worst kinds of discrimination are being practised in India

Aparthied went away 16 years back in South Africa. Mandela ensured that everyone lives in harmony. Brahmins must be included in the society as long as they behave properly and give up their superiority complex.

post the finding of the ASI i am shocked to find out that my highly respected Lord Ram never existed .. i like a average hindu now am in a identity crisis about who i am and what i should be doing .some other questions that come to my mind are ; 1.how can i worship and respect someone who never was ?
2.If he existed why cant he prove his existence ? 3.if he so mighty and powerfull and made a bridge himself why cant he protect himselve ? 4.if he was god then why did he have to make a bridge to even cross water ,why cant he make a boat. 5if he was so strong then why did it take him ages to even kill ravana and that too by dirty tricks ?

Ram is an article of faith. I am personally an athiest who comes from a family of Ram Bhakts so I know the sentiments involved. While the government exceeded its brief by calling Ram a myth when they should have just kept quite , its appalling to see media sensationalise this issue as well as certain parties trying to use religion to get ahead. An amendment in constitution to ban use of religion by political parties must be strongly enforced. Religion is a matter between an individual and his god and we do not need any dalals in between.
