You will get 100 votes - most of them writing stupid posts in favour of BJP , abusing Congress and reverred figures of other religions. The typical writer is also anti lower caste and anti - Tamil.
Its high time that Ms.Soni is is sacked or herself resigns.Also,a high level inquiry by security agencies need to be instituted to see which foreign country was actually respnsible for such a shameful affidavit.
There will be shattering, over rulling and complete damage to every nooks and corners of our cultural heritage. Involve more and more intellectuals into the system, else these kinds of debacles shall never stop.

This issue is being politicized by all the political parties, there is going to be danger to the marine life in these region and if another Tsunami happens it is not going to save Rameswaram from high tide as it happened last time, it will also affect the lives of fisherman on both side of Gulf of Mannar. It is going to raise the sea temperature and lead to failure of rainfall or excess rainfall. The brain behind this project will sit in Chennai and enjoy all the benefits without knowing the sufferings of the locals. The stand of the govt for dredging is for benefit of certain people, without taking in to consideration the effects it is going to have on more population. Think of the ecological disasters like pollution, damage to the natural habitat of the marine life. People should know that only one person or few persons are going to get benefited from this project. So instead of talking about religion think in the way of harm to the mankind. The project implementers are not thinking about the future generation they think only about making money today and earn huge profits for their own and family. Will these politicians be answerable for the damage to the environment and the failure to give a safe world to the future generation? These people have to be sidelined from the public life and be isolated. Why don%u2019t they think of a new alignment through land as an alternative way? forget that who cares about marine life they are all interested in money and vote. will marine life can vote????
I just hope someone from Armed forces leads a revolution against this congress govt and do what Mush did in pakistan to get rid of these bunch of so called "high command" sycophants.

The army is a completely secular force and is most comfortable with Congress. Anyone who knows anything about the ethos of Indian Army officers will not make such a statement. Yes - Indian army will intervene if Hindutva forces take over. Musharraf threw Nawaz out because he was cosying up too much with religious parties. In Turkey - Army protects secularism. In India - the main motto of the army is to protect secularism and then protect democracy.
