Your caption says "Ambika Soni offers to resign". But, nowhere in the article does it mention that she has offered to resign.
Anyway, she will not be asked to resign as she is a Christian and a person close to Sania Maino. Besides, if anything hurts the sentiments of the Hindus, it is absolutely "Secular" for these politicians.
the govt could have taken the hindus into confidence by explaining that such a ship route will be named after Lord Rama, it would have been a graceful request. But we are used to il mannerisium towards soft people. Hindus are not agressive people so they can be brow beated

Oh! just shut up guys! We all are at fault somewhere or the other who choose these rascals and make them hold such important positions in our country. Before making Rama and Krishna an issue, we should at least think of those poor people of India who don't have food to eat, clothes to wear, and a roof to shelter. This quarrel over Gods who were there on earth millions of years back is not going to be of any profit to the country. In turn, its just going to strengthen some political party or the other. This is too much and now we want a dictator like Fidel Castro to rule this country and put all these Sonias, Advanis, Ambikas, and Manmohans, etc., in jail for at least 15 years. We should have shame on ourselves that we making issues of non-issues ignoring the real problems of this country. Please learn something from countries like Japan yaar!

Susi soni - are you related to Ambika Soni? Tolerance of Hindus can not be taken for granted any more. Should not be also. Had the same incident happened to other prominent religions in India - would the Government dare enough to act in this fashion. Most/Some of the congress leaders are either not from this country nor have any respect to sentiments of Hindus. We shold punish congress for their attitude towards Hindus straight away. So as their UPA counterparts who always speak against Hindus. We should teach them a lesson that will be there for ever in their mind. This does not mean that BJP is the right choice - whoever it be - if they do not respect the public sentiments, they should be punished.
