The Government should dismiss the Minister who heads the ministry responsible for filing the affidavit, instead of suspening these hapless officials.
The Government, I am sure were fully aware what they were doing. The Congis got really scared that BJP,VHP and the "Shock Troops" Bajrang Dal would show their " True Devotion" to Lord Ram on the streets of India and prove the existence of Lord Ram.
The Congis now will not escape the wrath of Hindus by just suspending these officials. They can kiss good bye to electoral fortunes in the next general elections.
BJP will win the elections by a thumping majority and build a strong, stable India.

Western distortions and the Indian response
In the Western school of thought, an Aryan invasion or migration is used to describe the way in which ancient Vedic civilization took root in India , as if it were an alien force of intruding barbarians. In the Indic school of thought, the whole idea of an Aryan invasion/migration is a sign of ignorance. The Indic tradition arose from the rishi tradition of spiritual endeavour, characteristic of the Vedic-Sarasvati culture and related cultures, reflected in the continuity of Vedic literature from the Vedas to the Mahabharata, Buddhist and Jain literature and the Puranas, which all reflect the same principles, peoples and dynasties of kings.
In these current cultural debates, therefore, an overriding greater debate is ignored %u2013 that which takes place between the Western and the Indic schools of thought. The Western-style media and academia tries to see what is authentic in Indian civilization and finds it to be wanting, reducing it to little more than caste or superstition. This is not surprising as the Indic tradition has a different focus and values than does the Western tradition. Similarly, from the standpoint of the Indic tradition, we must question Western civilization itself. Is the Western school of thought enlightened? Is it appropriate for India ? Can it understand the unique civilization of the subcontinent?

Govrnment has succumbed to pressure has suspended poor govt servant.What crime have they done. Government system runs by record and proof.Since there is no record about Rama they have stated so in the affidavit. What is their crime? They must go to Tribunal against Sonia and Ambica Soni who have ordered suspension.UPA govt appears to believe in Jungle raj-and no rule of law.

We all know what is Sonia's intentions, just vote back. If Congress doesnt withdraw it, there will be defnitely trouble for them. SO they withdrew. Better to learn how to handle the crooks and dirty politicians who were mistakenly born in hindu families! Tamil Nadu CM Karunanidhi says he is firm that Rama didnot exist, questioning the faith of million of Hindus! Will he question Allah or Jesus? Has anyone seen Allah? Will he dare say a word against any oragnised religions? He says this because if Hindus unite all these politicians and parties will cease to exisit. That is the reason why even CPI and CPM are chanting this!

Can you please tell the authenticity of the information quoted by you?? What is the evidence that there was no island in Indian ocean in those times? That was probably in much older times than Ram, when the earth was forming, and land masses were realigning.

As regards your SPIDERMAN bit, you must compare various religion. You will find faithfulls of every religion believing few miracles by their revered figures. In this scientific world now we know that those miracles might not be true. BUT WHAT IS THE HARM IF THEY CONTINUE TO GET SPIRITUAL AND MORAL STRENGTH FROM THOSE MIRACLES!!! So, avoid your analysis. THIS WILL OPEN PANDORAS BOX AND reality of every religion can be brought in OPEN. Then Hindu, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism - all will find their faiths shaken. LET THEM BELIEVE TILL IT DOESNT HARM YOU.
