The same congress government, during elections along with thier allies would come every doorstep and you can see in thier election manifestos and promises about Rama Rajya.
After the government, they would follow 'Anti-Rama' and a typical 'Aurangazeb' or 'Adolf Hitler' rule.
In 1952, we, the people of India, accepted our Constitution & declared ourselves as a socialist secular republic with adult franchise. On that day we denied Rama & the Ramrajya.
There were elements in Hindu society then, who wanted to bring Ram Rajya. We strongly disagreed & dumped the idea of Ram Rajya. By doing that we did not dishonor India in any way, actually we did India proud.
Rama does not qualify to become our ideal & no one should ever try to force him upon us. Rama does not equate with India. India is much greater than Rama. India is a reality. Rama is a fiction, an imaginary character from an epic. Therefore, donot cry in the name of Rama!
As for Setu Samudram, it is an issue to be sorted out by experts on merits of the case alone. No foul cries of religious sentiments should be allowed to blackmail the nation.

I appreciate your intellect. But intellect without study of real history (and not the one written by British scholars) does not turn into knowledge. I suggest you and we all should read true Ramayan (originally in sanskrit) written by Valmiki. You wouldn't find any lack or reasoning in anything. Why do we want the westerns to stamp something before we accept it. Yes, look at yoga and meditation - we so called qualified indians are liking it back only after westerns have stamped it. Brother(s) and sisters, please do read and investigate the original stuff before denying. Also beware of myths.
Ram and Krishna existed. Go and read the fact how Akhbar and then British govt re-wrote our Indian history which we read today - using some paid scholars then. Naland and Takhila kind of universities by burnt by invaders. It is believed that 90,000 books were burnt in their liabraries. Those were not the days to photocopy, but to memorize. And now westerners and so called educated indians like me ask where's the proof.
It's 60 years since we achieved political independence, but when will we achieve intellectual freedom - YES, we are still slaves of the west!

Secular means respecting sentiments of everyone,Our constitution provided initially reservation for Harijans/Dalits for 10 years, later on SC/ST/OBC/Muslims/minorities and lately women have become focus point for apeasement by various parties for their vote bank. Where is your secular state? Your comments are hurting the feelings of common Hindu, you should be ashamed of it.

Don't worry. That will not happen until people like Sonia, Arjun Singh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Ram Vilas Paswan, Karunanidhi, Rajashekar Reddy, VS Achuthanandam and the hosts of communitsts in this country. Remember, out the names above more than 50% are Hindu names who are protecting muslims in this country. Don't worry you are safe. Only we Hindus have to find an alternative.
