The Congress government is a threat to the majority community, and the sooner they are removed from power, the better. Every second channel airs Christian evangelist programmes aimed at impressionable and troubled minds. Channels like God TV talk of the coming end of the world and the return of Jesus Christ to judge humanity. They also talk of the 'evil' secular culture and secular TV programmes in countries like the UK , the USA, and other Western countries, and also talk openly of changing governments which are opposed to Christian evangelism. They also unabashedly ask for money from people all over the world to meet the costs of running the 'God TV' channel and spreading the message of Christ (read conversion) across the globe. Millions of gullible Indians send 10s of 1000s of hard earned rupees to them, which they gleefully advertise. All this while, the government turns a blind eye to them, and talk about maintaining 'secularism', communal harmony and the like. In addition, they announce reservations for Muslims and Christians to further establish their 'secular' credentials. Destroying a bridge or two, which has religious and sentimental value to a lot of Hindus is added for good measure. We have a Sikh prime minister , a Roman Catholic Italian super prime minister, a Christian defence minister and a Sikh Chief of Army staff. Maybe more needs to be done to prove to America and the western world that India is indeed a secular country.

Let America have one Muslim or Sikh or Hindu President then lecture others on secularism. I remember how in my school, there was a mandatory subject called Moral science where only Bible was taught (so Bible is science but rest all is mythical).And that wasn't a one running from charity money - it was with hefty fee and all that. Imagine plight of those studing in christian schools running on charity money. They must be getting pressurized to convert everyday.

Who is telling you to go to Christine school to study or send your children in catholic schools? You people are only waiting whole night at the school gate to get admission of your children and then you curse them. Do not show your Double standard. If you are ware of the fact then do not send your children to catholic schools.

Dear Pradeep, You are right in many accounts. As a matter of fact, no one says kannagi is of godess stature. However, the tamil epics you mentioned are good example of how civilized our ancient indians are. Same is applies to ramayanam as well. Though, we do have some ill work of ram such as mutilating a women's face for her minor crime. But we do condone rama's for attrocity towards women even against sita. We take positives from all our ancient literature, which are made to civilize humen beings. We all should understand this and work towards development of india rather than going back to stone age. This what actually told by few good indian politicians such as Periyar. The Crux is Ramayanam, Silapathikaram etc are not history. I know you are literate have six senses. We don't have " Concrete" Scientific evidence that supports all the epics are historic. Don't hinder our Indian progress by becoming the puppets in the hands of unscruplous politicians..

Your 4th paragraph is a key issue that I hope people realize. As for christianity becoming dominant, I don't think it matters one way or another. Almost all religions, except Islam, have come to terms with modernity, and religion is no longer a priority (except maybe when somebody insults it). The west has long since ignored the bible and biblical teachings to progress the way they did. Presently, people are just born into a religion, they don't practice much. And don't care too.
However, Islam with its intolerance and aversion to criticism (apostasy deaths and shariah laws), which is antithetical to freedom and democracy, must be fought. It is very important for everybody to realize the importance of the point you stated in your 4th paragraph.

Most kings were sudras. You know Yadavas were ruling Maharastra at one time. Likewise, Maurya was all OBCs.
