Fanaticism is not going to help us. It is against Hindu philosophy.Let us not spread hatred but try to understand facts as they are. Mythology and history are two different things, while mythology has its own importance since our psyche is guided by it we must understand that we cannot progress in life and develop our country and remove poverty and ignorance amongst our people by being blind to facts and history.To say that Ramayan is history is denigrating its importance. All religions have their own mythology but they do not allow that to influence their logical and scientific thinking.Those who do so remain poor and ignorant. The scientific fact is that what is considered Setu on the basis of mythology and blind faith is nothing but sandbars seperating two pieces of land mass.Even NASA's recent statement states that.Let us not spread hatred and ignorance in the name of religion.It was BJP that sanctioned the project when they were in power, now they are trying to score brownie points for political reasons but they should know that this may give them short term gain but eventually it will fail just as the temple movement did.

I am an atheist, but I feel that leftist fanatics like you are the danger. I don't believe in Rama, and yet I feel that this site is a heritage site which deserves to be protected. Just because I don't believe in Buddha doesn't mean I support Taliban destroying the giant Buddha statues at Bamiyan. You can't go around with your left-wing baiting against only certain religions, while leaving other religions untouched. How come Sonia's govt never asked Muslims for proof of Allah or Muhammad? How come nobody asks for proof of Jesus? Why would single out the Hindus for your Inquisition? I am an atheist, but I am against Left-wing pogroms. The heritage site must be protected.

trhere si no dispute about the importance of bamiyan statues.. Rama sethu is completely disputed from every angle.. if you think that it is a heritage site, your;re welcome .. do not impose on others..
We can also think that every place where projects are implmented in north india is heritage sites.. so what?
