I have one small litmus test for all those Indian politicians, intellectuals, historians, opinion makers - if for a moment you assume Ram to be a God of Islam religion will our goverment dare touch this Setu? Or if this were some place where The Prophet walked on water, would the DMK, the Congressmen and Communists react the same way they do now?
How many of our intellectuals can challenge the Hazratbal - the hair of the holy man? How many of them can dare to say the Kaaba is a Granite
stone like any other found on earth and it did not come from heaven?
Apart from all this there are n number of scientific reasons for this ancient bridge (which obviously is not natural, but man made - now how does one find out who built it and when) to remain as it is.

Can you prove your own birth let alone of anyone else in your family lineage? Well, I have no intention of knowing your noble origins.
How can one prove the birth of Kannagi or Kovalan? But will you not standup if anyone questions the story of their life?
Whatever may be your belief, will you not use an alternate argument to prove or disprove how silly the opportunistic arguments are of the politicians?
Learn to understand the comment before replying. That will make for a meaningful dialogue.
If I can't prove Ram, so can the others prove Mohammad or Jesus or many others about whom we have come to know. There is no proof possible, and no proof required.
If you have guts, trash all of them. Go to any Islamic country and trash Prophet Mohammad. Go to Rome and trash Jesus. You may come alive from Rome, but not from Saudi. That is why most so called secular politicians never speak if anything hurts the followers of Islam.

Yes this rakshasha analogy is most appropriate for M. Karunanidhi. No wonder that even after Her Highness had given approval for withdrawal of the offensive affidavit, still this Karunanidhi filled with so much envy for Rama and his believers/followers. He has questioned "Which engineering college did Rama study from? Where did he learn this art of bridge building?" All such Questions should be put to Karunanidhi himself. "When Karunanidhi was in power, all the flyovers and bridges built in Madras, were they built by Karunanidhi? Pray tell us which engineering college did Karunanidhi study from and learn the art of bridge building?"
Such rogues like Karunanidhi must be defeated and thoroughly humiliated in elections. This is the only way to silence him.

First BE INVOLVED - not only in posting messages but at the local level, including politics, which has been hijcaked by these pseudo-seculars(read anti Hindu or anti Snatan Dharma)
You can sit by, watch and get rolled over or you can stand up for your rights and take back waht is rightfully yours. There will be dangers and challenges. Are you upto it?
2. Instead of following usual (money making) careers such as software, get into jouranlism, even the Indian Beaurocracy to make true cj=hanges, which make Indian cutlure as grat as it is. Tolerance is NOT weakness NOR allowing ourselves to be bullied.
3. Further, as some one mentioned, at least get a basic understanding of the philosohical basis of Sanatana Dharma. There are plenty of resources on the web.
I want to warn you, it does take some effort and time.
Above all, take the energy you have built up from reading this and help your fellow man, who believes in the same faith.

Some non-Hindus are using Hindu names to divide us on North-South or East-West.
Our goal should be:
1. Complete ban on all religious conversions. Conversion by entincement/force should come under the perview of criminal law. Irrespective of whether it is done by mother Theresa or a local Mullah.
2. Uniform Civil Code. Equal rights for women.
3. Genuine Secular State. Absolutely no favor to anyone based on Religion. Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs all included.

I am not sure why there is so much fuss about? If there is a court case (Brought in the name of Hindus) and court asks about existence of Rama , I am not sure what Attorney General is supposed to see. I doubt Ram came in his dream or anybody who is self proclaimed defender of Hindu rights. No body in right mind can believe that you could build a bridge by writing just Ram on Rocks. This is purely a project based on economics of Shipping . And these so called defenders of Hindu rights could not unite Hindu fraternity for last 400 years. The whole Hindu samaj is divided because any HIndu leader did not have foresight or courage to denounce casteism or Sati PArtha.. we had to wait for damn britishers to come and tell us what is right? Complaining is the only thing we as Hindus do and never work as society to be pragmatic and Practical. Look at Ganga and Yamuna , what has it become and believe me there was no congress or Muslim conspiracy behind it . Look at Triputhi... If you are dam rich you do not have to get in LIne or if you pay Rs 25 , you are given preference. This is the Hindu values and religion we are trying to defend.

BTW, ALL the money from Tirupathi goes to the Andhra government run by Y Samuel Rajashekar Reddy, who recently tried to help his own and other fiendly churches establish, at government cost, new churhes in the seven hills.
Further, the money from the temple is also used to subsidise Hajj travel.

How about a pastor from an LA church doing out of court settlement worth millions of dollars for sexually abusing 100s?
Majority of the Chuches during British times were built using the poor INDIAN HINDU's money.
