How can one prove Rams existence in the light of our History?
How is it logical to restrict and influence ASI officials to in terms of myth and believes?
How can a superstitious belief dominate a development project which is a dream project of Tamilnadu for 100 years?
This is why we hear furious counter storms from Dravidian leaders.
We can accept Horry Potter as an Epic and can enjoy it, but its characters can not be agreed as a true personality once was existed, until unless we have historical proof.
There are most elegant Epics than Ramayana, Mahabharata and Vedas in this world. None of these Epics advocated that its Characters are true and existed. And will be simply nullified if it so by the Archaeologist and the Historians.
More over, there is a big topic on Partiality, Ignorance and stupidity in these sacred scripts of Hinduism where Dravidians and other intellectuals are fighting fiercely. Because these scriptures pushed Non brahmins to live a terrible life and created sky high difference between Brahmins and Non Brahmins in terms of life style.

All histories are taken account only on the basis of writings of a period, sculptures and architectural works of that era. If u have any doubts on how people write history, Go and ask a Historian.
So taking account of the work of Ramayana and mahabharatha, they are authentic proof for the existence of Rama. Morover we have various places associated with him all over the country and anecdotes by various scholars. that is proof enough. Moreover, ramayana and Mahabharatha, by themselves in many places advocate proofs for the existence of the charecters.
if u read the epics u will know better. The castisim preached there is only about the way of life and the work being performed by them. You cannot find many brahmins in these texts in major roles, except maybe for Dhrona in the Mahabharath, who was also later considered an outcast as he fought against his principle of Peace. read and Learn, there are a lot of proof lying around you for The existence of the Lord Rama.
lastly, If Kamban, Kannagi, AOwvaiyayar, Valluvar and many other scholars you praise are true, then valmiki from whom kamban got inspired was also true and thus Very True is Rama. for your information, the caste politics just came after 1650's when British wanted to divide the people. refer your History till then. there was no mention of caste problems. The politicians now are just following the british for monetary gains.

kamban was not a brahmin, but u can be sure he had a deep knowledge in Samskrith through his works. Learn the works of kamban and valluvan and Tamizh history, which iam sure was not thought to you to a good extent in your schools as they wanted to glorify the english. You will have Proof for the existance of Rama.
Ask ur Grand father if he was educated, or anyone who is above 70 and educated, The English Thought their history in our schools. we dint change our History books much after that. we just added pages about indipendence. So naturally, our history books dont teach us our true history. days are changing. go to the Internet, you will learn more about your true History.
We are in a period where we disturbed a lot by the educated, lunatic Hindu Radicals and their backbone BJP and Parivars. They are working hard to change the history of our glorious nation to support their foolish believes and their non existed Gods.
So we should remind the history of our nation, which we have already learnt in our school days to awake our ordinary Indian.
Our oldest existence of culture in India is Mehrgarh Culture in around 7000-3300 BC which is part of Stone Age where people used only stones as tools. They were unaware of metals.
Than is the Indus civilization, in around 3300-1700 BC.
The Vedic period starts from 500 BC which means 500 years before Jesus some time later to Moses. Here is the period where all the senseless superstitions and Gods, Goddesses were created in the name of Veda, Upanishads, Manu Dharma and so on. And they created Yugas to manipulate TIME and their CULTURE. Those are SatyaYug, TretaYug, DwaparYug, KaliYug, Sandhi kaal and so on.
Valmiki Ramayana is believed to be dated variously from 500 BCE to 100 BCE.
Mahabharata was written in the Gupta period by 4th Century.
So all this vague and foolish books of Hinduism have been created in between 1500 BC and 550 AD, and believed to be sacred texts in Hinduism.

Well Ram was an Aryan. Aryans pushed the Dravidians down South and called them Asuras. Not all Dravidians are Asuras but, this Karunanidhi it seems is a descnedant of these Asuras. Next time his party will be wiped out in the elections. then we will again see him being dragged out of his house without any clothes. This time he shoul be hanged.

I know and can understand the blind faith people have for their political leaders aka karunanidhi or jayalalitha and believe every word uttered by them as gods words and are beyond reason. But i am truly apalled by the blind haters you seem to have for hinduism and the symbols of hinduism. Man if you hate the religion , it is better for you to adopt other religions you profess are worthy and scientific and chane your name to some adam or abdul and spare us all these rotten and twisted and contorted arguements. If Rama is not myth then he must be a human being. Then the stories depicted in Ramayana (like Pushpak Ratha, Hanuman's sea crossing, Ravana's 10 faces) are only imagination in the backdrop of social condition at that time. If Rama is God then he never came to this earth physically. He remains in the minds of the believers. All the rivers,mountains,volcanos,were the outcome of natural evolution of Earth. 'Ram setu' would have been created by the same process.
We go against nature like constructing a dam across a river when it is necessary to control floods or bring economic prosperity even if it is a sacred river like 'Ganga'. Similarly if by constructing a canal of 300 meters wide canal which will intersect 'Ramsetu' of 35 km length to bring economic prosperity to the country then what's the harm?

Aranya Kandam, the biggest heretical text I have come across. Kamban, who writes Ramayana in the 8th-9th century, and tries to portray it as Valmiki's Ramayana. And I am not at all surprised by your extensive quoting of this, as you very well know that the Rakshasas of Lanka spoke TAMIL. Some temples in Lanka still WORSHIP Ravana. Rakshasas, like Karunanidhi, will always denigrate Lord Rama. There's nothing strange about it.
