Yes the canal should be built and no one is arguing with that here. How can a government ruling a country with 85% hindu's question the existence of god rama. You look to either not understand what people are discussing here or you are a muslim with hindu name. Come out with your real identity.

Oh' - only people like you will act against National security. We are Indians here first - not Hindus, not Muslims , not Christians - these are secondary identities.
I hold no brief for the government because of the tactlessness with which this issue was handled. They have given BJP and unemployed characters one more issue to come to streets.

In future india has to face tremendous water problem, if they were so interseted they should have acted on river linking projects all over india.They never developed north east where our Army has to face tremendous problems in defending our borders.

Now that GOI has declared that there is no basis for existance of Ram and for that matter, sethusamundram, it clearly follows that there is no existance of Hindu Gods. So it will be logical to raze all the Hindu temples in this country. ........ Similary as scinece does not recognise existance of God as per GOI, so Hindu religion be declared baseless..........

As per your comment Hindu temples should be razed as there is no God.
Now tell me what is the proof of existence of any God?
Demolish all churches as there is no scientific proof that a virgin lady can conceive and give birth nor there is any proof that a man can come to life three days after his death, and hence, Jesus is as fake as Ram.
Demolish all Mosques as there is no proof of existence of any Allah or Prophet. If Ramayana can not be considered as a historical proof Quran can also be not considered as a proof for existence of Allah or Prophet.
It is not a question of existence of Ram or Allah. It is a question of faith. Can any body think of demolishing Mecca or Medina for sake of comfort and money? Can anybody think of demolishing Vatican? No, they can not. When it is a question of faith of 80 million people, then these things should be preserved.

GOVT HAS LEFT WITH NO OTHER OPTION, NOW THE PERSON WHO HAS PREPARED THAT AFIDEVIT, PERSON WHO HAS PASSED AND SIGED IT, AND THE PERSON WHO HAS SUBMITTED IT SHOULD BE SACKED. WHAT SOLICITOR GENERAL, WHO HAS SUBMITTED THAT TO SC, WAS DOING? HAS HE NOT GONE THROUGH THE CONTENTS OF AFIDEVIT? IF ANY GIVE HIM HIS RESIGNATION, DOES HE WILL SUBMIT IT TO THE SC? WHAT OUR LAW MINISTER AND HIS ENTIRE WORK FORCE WAS DOING? NO NEED TO FIX ANY RESPONSIBILITY. EVERY ONE SHOULD BE SACKED WITH IMMIDIATE EFFECT.FEELINGS OF CRORES OF HINDUS ARE CHALLANGED. you r right,these stupid fellows should not be allowed to enter any temple.all hindus should bycott them,and they should not b allowed to celebrate any of our hidu festivals.
There is no doubt there is a systematic plan to eliminate Hinduism or at least reduce Hindus to a minority, by encouraging Muslims and Christians and discouraging Hindus.

what is the name of the project ? Normally we call a project wile building something. But here we are breaking a Setu. The project should be named immediately as Setu-Breaking Project.
