Sonia Ganhdi is as much an Indian citizen as her deceased husband. Her once Italian / french links are irrelevant.
A sad news.Who to blame ? Civilised, educated and intellectual pakis..., please wake up.Bear in mind that holding "CHARCOAL" in hand is harmful either way.If cold,it will blacken your hand if hot it will burn your hand. Please it is an open secret that terrorists operating in India are trained and funded by ISI,terrorists now operating in Pakistan ARE TRAINED AND FUNDED BY ISI not RAW.Your ISI wanted to put neighbour's house on fire, now your own has been engulfed in that fire. Please do not take it negatively.Need of the hour is to wake up,get up,get ready and revolt against the policies of your so-called "GOVT" which in fact does not exist but a group of UNIFORMED CRIMINALS playing in the hands of foreign powers. Please think and think and think and act for better tomorrow of your children. Stupid questions and stupid answers (which I am not exception)will not serve any purpose. Tall statements on hollow nationalism, impracticable religions, distorted histories will not serve any purpose.History of Indian subcontinent (which we all Ind,Pak and Bang are sons of) is HISTORY OF SLAVERY only.We all should be grateful to British who intervened and introduced us to modern world (of course at heavy price). They took a lot from us but gave something in return which no positive thinking person can undervalue. Need of the hour is to stop getting befooled by these antinational elements and opportunist rulers and leaders. These elements are enemies of all Hindu, muslims and Sikhs.WAKE UP

"Free as other parts of Pakistan" is an oxymoronic statement. No one is free under dictatorship.

You mean Kashmir occupied by Pakistan. Hardly any Kashmiri lives in POK these days, all have migrated to UK and other countries. POK now is a haven for jihadis, yes they are free to perpetuate violence. POK is very under developed as a state compared to the rest of Pakistan, which in itself is quite underdeveloped. If you want to get data on the people of POK talk to secular muslims and the educated lot, you will get a better picture.

I agree wid you Mr g... Ppl here comment without knowing wat we faced in the past and the reason for that cause... Rakesh, it was Nawaz sharif who ordered the pak military to come back and that's why the military took over the government saying that Nawaz sharif is the cause of their loss...and was given the death punishment...But due to some courtesy he was exiled for 7 yrs...Now he dare to take back his position as he knew he was not wrong..(Atleast i support him and not ur Musharraf) ..Hope u r clear now..pls know the history before u comment anything..
While many Indians feel happy about political hit turning on Musharraf, Indian Govt. must be alert about everything that happens in Pakistan. Everybody is predicating end of Musharraf era, but that may not be a true case. Musharraf has gone through a period of isolation and international pressure and yet managed to survive. He survived Taliban war, iraq war, India/Pak stand off. At one stage, Vajpayee refused to shake hands with him and Musharraf's words were falling on deaf ears. US never helped in constructive manner to Pakistan. On nuclear issue, Bush visited Pakistan after India visit, but quickly mentioned in front of all press that Pakistan can't compare itself with India. So, although US is lending some support to its old friend, there are many restrictions in place. Every time, Musharraf needs money or is under pressure to give up his job, he creates a drama about internal war or attck on himself. Now this time, he is again under pressure to give up his job. So, unless full details of his deal with Ms. Bhutto are not clear, we will never know what is actually cooking. Perhaps, sending Sharif back, could be a part of the deal making a clear road for Ms. Bhutto.

Whatever happens in Pakistan is their headache. Past History has shown that Pakistan is not fit for democracy. Let us be alert and prevent terrorist attacks as it happened in Hyd and elsewhere. Infiltration of militants also should be checked.

As the things stand today, Musharraf himself is aware of the short future he has now. If he doesnt shed his uniform soon, the pak army will have him; but if he does without guarantees from the powers that be, he may soon be a neighbour of Shariff at Jeddah. Hence, his insistence of guarantees from Ms Bhutto. Anyway, history says that all dictators who are a pet of Americans meet violent ends; eg - Shah of Iran, Zia ul Haq, Daniel Noreiga, Saddam Hussein, etc etc. Since we Indians neither have the capability nor gumption to moderate the situation in Pak, we ordinary Indians should eagerly watch how the end game of the mushi regime is played out. It will be more interesting than the Saas Bahu serials. ---- Tim Mukuty
know what, all parties that are for democracy should join hands first and foremost in solidarity to fight for the just cause of democracy in pakistan to oust him collectively.....united you should stand, first, in order for you to achieve anything in there.
