it is not appropriate to poke fun and hurt others.. though I too do not like muslims, but then one should fight terrorists and not abuse in general.. otherwise there remains no difference between us and them!!!

i wonder why laden asked only the americans to get converted to ISLAM. I think he knew that in india his job of coaxing us to convert will be done by our government by their constant pressure and abuse. Come lets get converted from a mythical faith to faith of BINDAS LADEN!
I don't want to enter into the debate of Ram's existence. Even if Ram exists, HE will be happy to see a project that brings good times to humanity.In the name of God, don't spoil the country's progress. Ram might have used hundreds of pathways in this land. What is the current status of those paths?.Even in places around Ayodhya,Ram may have walked for several years, are you preserving all the path ways?Why jumping for something in sea?Don't be silly.Let us pray Ram and stop there.

No Mr sankara subramnian.. It is not as simple as that.. we operate by symbolism and therefore some paths are more important than rest.. It is true that Sri Rama would have agreed for not just this but anything else for the sake of well being of people.. but then these are times when hooligans and spineless louts are ruling and abusing power. It is not merely about just a temple ( at ayodhya ) or a pathway in sea.. It is about how gradually and systematically pseudos are destroying the faith .. little by little . You keep on giving assuming that it is just a little, only a few years down the line one realises that nothing is left with oneself. !!! And it is this that has lead to today a shameful affidavit being filed which questions the existence of Rama itself ??? If hindus have any sense of shame , then they should never forget such insults and use it as a clarion call to unite and fight against pseudos, communists, shamsters.. Otherwise there is no hope !!! By the time the next generation comes of age, they might even question whether shankararcharya existed or what his relevance is.. and over a period of time, even whatever little we hold today as dear and sacrosanct today could become inconsequential reducing our entire life to irrelevance and fallacy.

Sankara Subramanian is a Tamil Brahminbeaten into submission by the Dravidian guys like Veeramani and Karunanidhi. This footpedal has the courage to say that the Sethu built by Shri Ram is dispensable. He is ignorant that should the Sethu be destroyed almost the entire souther half of TN would go into the ocean thanks to massive Tsunamis. This Sethusamudram project is one of the many modes of looting public exchequer by the Dravidian government. That is all. There is no public interest involved in it. May be people like Sankaran Subramanians may be thrown a few crumbs for wagging their tail at the Dravidian politicians.

Don't compare oranges and apples. If you feel elections are waste, protest against it.Since you feel elections are waste that does not mean no development effort should be taken in this country until elections are stopped.One bridge won't make india a super power but a step towards it.As a Tamilian, I like to see a part of my state progress because of this project.

I am not against the project. If it is needed for economic reasons to make the sea deep at Setubandha, the Government should do it. But to question the very existance of Lord Rama, by our own Government makes Hinduism a laughing stalk in the whole world. What is that religion, whose elected representatives themselves consider it as folklore or myth? Already hinduism is looked down upon as a culture of idol worship. Now if our own Government swears in its apex court through an affidavit that our God is nothing but a mythical figure then whole world will call us Pagan on our face. My opinion is that if you need to reconstruct something at the setubandha, go ahead but please dont hurt our feelings.

Mr Dipankar...brilliant comments.In addition,all the religions,beliefs and faiths are more or less based on some myths and other way round.It is all inseparably linked to each other.All the scriptures of all religions have more or less been misinterpreted. But to question or even to entertain a question like this(existence of Rama) by govt of INDIA/BHARAT is unbelievable.....!!!!!!

before going to sethu, let the government improve the roads first. thousand die every day in trafic accidents.even after 60 years of self government,pity we do not have motorable roads.

Hello Sir, Superb comment made by you. We should be ashamed, even a 400 years before built TAJMAHAL was been polluted and our Govt didnt took any effort and this bridge is been there for abt thousands of years, its a gift for us and we must preserve it rather declining.
