The representative of archaelogical survey of India should also be questioned about his intentions.Why should he comment on the faith of people belonging to one religion.He doesn't have proof that the bridge in sea is not man made.Govt. should behave more responsibly because their role is not to splash, it is for opposition to create controversies.
they r trying to protect tajmahal and even not allowing any structres to be build in its vicinity!!!! they have so much affection for muslim structres????
The Ram Sethu Bridge, whether it was build by Ram or not is a different issue.
But there are other important factors involved.
(1) That piece of bridge reduced the effects of Tsunami in 2004, to some extent by acting like a barricade. Making a canal there is like building a road for future tsunamis to travel.
(2) The coral life will definitely be affected there
(3) The fishing life will be affected
(4) The fisherman's life will be affected.
(5) More pollution in that region as more ships will be taking that route
I can keep on going. This project is just not worth it.
I have a feeling, that some big corporate/shipping company bribed someone to get this project going, so that they could save few money by cutting short the route.
We all Indians should strongly protest this and stop this project and restore the natural order there.

The congress dont have guts dear friend. they are impotent ppl able to reproduce themselves. When Mohammed's cartoon row came everybody congress, CPIM and all regional parties condemned this to woo the minoties...but when MF hussain created such a furore none came to talk abt hinnduism. I just dont understand Y ppl select them and send them to parliament. I think every body shud have only 1 agenda... Hinduism..and any political party promoting the cause of hinduism shud be voted for... All hindus will have to take a resolution on that then only Hinduism can be saved from the clutches of a catholic lady and communists

Mr. Mahendra, from the scientific evidence found so far, human life on planet earth around 10,000 years back only. How are we going to account for the astronomical figure of 17,25,000 years quoted by you?
Of course, there is no need to proceed with Sethu-Samudram Project as it will damage the ecological balance in that area. That need not be mixed with faith or religion.

Ask CPIM abt NANDIGRAM, AND SINGUR where SEZ is made on poor farmers. Our Idea is that CPIM will lose 40to 45% seats in nxt election in W.Bengal > Really we never wanted this kind of stupidity.

I do not belive in the 'fatwa' system. But Hinduism also must have a system in which people like the law minister and the other ministers in the government be expelled from Hindu religion, and barred from calling themselves hindus. Can u imagine a muslim, jew, sikh or a catholic writing affidavits against his own deities whom he's supposed to worship. Tomorrow they will say that Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh never existed because they cannot find any 'scientific' evidence. How ridiculus is that? SO according to them, all Hindus are nothing but stupids believing in false idols and things that never existed. The fact is that ours is by far, the oldest religion in the world. And its nearly impossible to find any 'evidence'. Let all shankaracharyas get together to form a platform.
