We Indians are really cowards. We beat, lynch a thief for a petty crime(may be because of unemplyment and other socioeconomic problems) where as we fall at the feet of politicians who are more dangerous than the Dreaded Decoits who are looting the very public which elected to rule them.If these Rogue Politicians are lynched in public, this country can see a better future.

First you have to understand the living condition of the people in Bihar. No educated person wants to live in state where anarchy and widespread courruption prevails. People at large are uneduacted. There is hopeless situation in villages where many caste-based armies have formed.People are so much frustated that at times they dont think before taking law in there hand. They feel punishing culprits will bring some respite to their agony

You are blaming Bihari for this act.I agree to some extent that the cases reported for brutality in Bihar are more. Reason is simple . there is no good work worth showing in Bihar except that it produces talented boys and girls who constitute almost 25-30% IAS ? IPS and Allied Service in India.

But do not forget that the entire Hindi belt is gripped with problem of Violence. Thank God it is less in south.

It is unfortunate that Bihar sets some bad examples and soon it is adopted on mass scale in other states of Hindi Belt.Example -abduction for ransom.

Bihar is a harsh place and such things are a way of life out there. No industrial/biz house wants to go there regardless of the assurances by ministers etc., not much can improve in that place. This is again a fallout of the fact that the majority of people are illiterate and down-trodden and the law enforcement agencies are absolutely incapable in that barbaric state.
Maybe, we should modify our outdated constitution to impose Military rule out there to bring in some order. It is clear that the govt. is not capable of making any difference. The people of Bihar will only be controlled by use of force.

Hey Mr Sarang....I think u are really pissed on Bihar.I agree that crime is on the higher side in Bihar but the situation is not as bad as u think.Where the whole of India is facing communal problems, there has not been any Hindu-Muslim right in Bihar for the past 20 yrs.Farmers all over India are commiting suicide but not in Bihar. There are so many bomb blasts in every part of India including the A-class cities of India but not in Bihar...etc etc......
I am not trying to defend Bihar by giving any excuses abd I abm just trying to say that may be with the help of the whole of India the situation out thr may improve.I am sure it will.
It has few of most intelligent brains of India and I am quite hopeful it will,it just need some positive help from our countrymen.

Bhaiya Prabal, you have included Sania Mirza and SRK as part of the group of criminals and anti-nationals. Tell me whether they have done anything wrong to the society or did they do anything that disturbed the peace of India. In your frustration of blaming politicians and celebreties, let us do separate out who is the culprit and who are not. Simply adding everyone in the list is not justified boss.

are there no courts & police functioning ?!

if requested, the USA can send over some police officers and legal department officials for training in how to set up a police force and judicial court system.

Jungle Raj in Bihar
by mohammed arifuddin on Sep 13, 2007 09:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Engineer Nitish Kumar's Government in Bihar seem to be no different from that of RJD Rule under Smt. Rabri Devi. When Mr. Nitish Kumar was in oppotion he made a lot of hue and cry along with Mr. Modi of BJP for the lawlessness in Bihar. Abduction of school going children and beating of alleged thieves by the angry mob taking the law into their hands has become order of the day.

Sandeep bhaiya, you will know when you go to Bihar and get beaten black and blue, get your eyes gouged out or whatever else, on mere suspicion. What makes you think that the mobs are targeting only guilty people? There well could be innocent bystanders getting killed. It's people like you who are spoiling this country. If Biharis want crime to stop, they should themselves start getting more civilised..why is it that all this crime is happening only in Bihar, and not in Maharashtra, or say Tamilnadu? Surely there's something seriously wrong with the people of Bihar also

Congress has digraced the nation as well as very badly hurted the religious sentiments of the Hindus.
This shows that the congress can even sell the country to enemies like pakistan.

The entire Congress is an evil family.
Congress has divided India first on the basis of religion. Then they divided Pakistan. Now they are again dividing India on the basis of caste( dat Arjun singh is d proof ) and religion ( in every election ).
Congress is the nonsecular party wearing a secular mask.
