I think this is too much. U can not equate RSS with other terrorist.No RSS people go anywherte in the world and distruct the masses nor there is intention to do so. We can grasp ur feeling to which we agree except ur comparision of RSS with other outfits. This is ridiculous.

Can you recall the involvement of RSS in the aftermath of Tsunami some time ago.
This Ramar Sethu has been shown to be the pre human structure, called tombol, a sand deposition due to natural process. The Geological Survey of India ruled out its being the manmade (or monkey made), construction. Same way the inference from NASA satellite pictures is that it is due to sedimentation of clay and lime stone. It is tombol in NASA language, connecting one land with another, and that it is from times when human habitation is impossible. Beware of these anti social elements who made modern days life toughs mothers are delivering babies on roads like MONKEYS.

Have u seen the destruction and riots and unhuman behaviour by a perticular group.Do you know how many monthers with babies were burnt in Railway at Godhra. One thing is sure that all this should stop. But at the same time we can do anything to protect Taj and Kutub then why not Ram setu.

Dear. go and read science first. There is no 100% proof of any scientific theory yet. Geology is not a perfect science either. You should ask for historic proof and not the scientific proof. There are 1000s of historic proofs claiming validity of such mythical stories. Ramayana is a historic proof of the scientifically established fact that humans and monkeys are closely related. The only reason historians hesitate accepting this is because, its all HINDU history.

hmmm.. do you know anything about Ramayana Epic? Its one of the India's epic... ANother one being Mahabharata. U call RSS as anti social? taht too in India? what are muslim groups and christian Missionaries are? Most of Muslim groups are known for terrorism activities.. Terrorism is waging backstab like war on another religion people. This will continue a long way.. SO stay away if u dont know the facts. Ram Sethu was built for bringing back Seetha from clutches of Ravana.. Cant explain whole of Ramayana here.. I fu dont know what is what then dont post anything.. Be neutral.. Before telling anything about Ramayana Epic which has been proved by scripts of that age, I am sure u atleast follow Quran or Koran. They are also scripts of ages back. Actually if hindus do any thing not acceptable to other religions then they say that we r orthodox etc, etc, etc.............. But if they do the same thing then that is modernism. This attitude really shows the double standards prevalent in many place.

Ramayana, Mahabharatha and Bhagavath Gita are not the religious scriptures. Those are only storybooks. Ramayana is the story of Sri Rama, the king of Ayodhya, historical man. Mahabharatha is the story of Sri Krishna, the prince of Madhura, another historical figure. Bhagavath Gita is compiled of eighteen chapters just selected from Mahabharatha. every book tells some kind of a story, and its for us to believe in it or not. Some may say that bible is also a story book or for that matter gita or quran. Its the people like us who make it holy(whatever may be the adjective used to describe it). May be its a story book but since feelings of millions have been attached to it for thousands of years a second thought is indespensible. Also the ecological impact should be considered before destroying that natural (since it is said that ramayana is a story book) thing. Also will this project bring more revenue than making and promoting it as tourist destination should also be looked into since "Ramayana is nothing but a story book".!!!!

Karunanidhi dared to ban the screening of Da-Vinci code in TN because he presumed that it would hurt the sentiments of Christians (Eventhough the movie ran well in many Christian Countries and had many facts picked from the Bible itself)...but he doesnt care a damn when the entire country is against Sethusamudram...now he is arrogant enough to think that our sentiments are not being hurt!!
Rohit Jalan's explanation definitely needs analysis. India has the dubious distinction of not being able to construct anything good but can only destroy what is great heritage. It has nothing to do with religion. It is similar to protecting any National monument like Qutub Minar or Tanmahal. The Sethu is of greater importance in terms of its age & explore Scientific Studies about the technology of those days. Youmay be aware that all over India there are Durgahs, Mosques in the middle of several main roads which are creating severe traffic problem AND WASTING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BY WASTING THE SAME FUEL. CAN THE FOREIGN POWERS (WHO WANT THE SETHU PROJECT COMPLETED, DESPITE PUBLIC PROTEST) MOVE ANY OF THE DURGAHS ANYWHERE IN INDIA? ARE ROADS MEANT FOR LIVING PEOPLE OR THE DEAD ONES? WHY DO WE SAY DONT BRING RELIGION BUT WHEN IT COMES TO DURGAHS, NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING BUT SIMPLY YIELD TO THEIR PROTEST WHICH WILL BE ONLY RIOTS OF ALL KINDS. CAN WE NOT THINK OF AN ALTERNATIVE LIKE SUEZ CANAL? THAT IS NOT DAMAGE THE OLD SETHU BUT ALSO MAKE WAY FOR SHIPS. THE EXTRA COST, IF ANY, CAN BE RECOVERED WITHIN ONE YEAR IF OUR MINISTERS,MPs,MLAs ETC STOP ATTENDING RIBBON CUTTINGS & FOUNDATION STONE LAYING CEREMONIES. i propose a very simple and sureshot remedy to problem. please identify the setu, remove this structure piece by piece and relocate onland at various cities and temples of country (or abroad also, if willing to share cost) with full religious respect. I am sure finance will not be constraint
The agitation created today by some of the political organizations deserves to be condemned. Its understandable that the project involves destrucion of the bridge constructed by lord rama..but we all need to understand why its being done. I am not sure if an alternative could be suggested.but i guess people in power would have thought over this issue so many times before giving the green signal. There is always a better way to project your ideas. Just blocking the roads and rail routes will not bear fruit to all those involved in today's drill. It does not make sense for me..not sure how people educated and being senior members of the party, support such violence. We are all human beings and lets try to live in harmony.
