Few years back NASA has taken satellite pictures which showed a strip linking India & Srilanka, this is also evidence that our sacred Ramayan has proof even today.When people outside India are convinced about Lord Srirama, why are we Indians scratching our heads about His existence.History cannot change by anyones verdict.

Just like this person without knowing any truth or false, all the news they heard or read, the same neighbout country people don't have food and not allowed to take food in their place, childrens are suffering but we all not thinking this and not helping them, but we want to save the old stories, how sad this, one side people died because of don't have food.
In everyone india, they will spent for god for themselves but not for others, help others to live in the world.

A project to put in a tube into the submerged Dwaraka was proposed, where in you can see the entire city, how people lived etc. but the Govt. scrapped it, wont allow it.. can somebody say why? It was proposed and a FDI project !

It is ASI's finding, not Government politicians, now any one can disprove because it is infront of court who ultimately decides which is just as per law. Sometimes it is very very difficult to digest these kind of news(facts as per ASI), especially when you and all your household beleive from birth. I recommend whoever has the proof should present infront of the court instead of these discussions in media. Can't in India anyone who can keep a lawyer who can defend or prove against ASI?
But remember just because we beleived, truth will not become false or false become truth. E.g., many centuries people beleieved earth is flat, or sun going around earth... did they change just because we believed. When the proof came beleiefs have to change accordingly otherwise we making ourselves liars and our children followers of the lie. Sometime back I read in Competetive Success, a magazine that many Group 1 exam takers prepare had secion on persons Past, there they showed Valmiki and Vedavyas as Sanskrit poets, who wrote stories, why didn;t this agitation takes place then?
By hurting millions of people, this govt. is no more having majority in parliament and even in the heart of Indian people. Even Mr. Manmohan Singh may feel it inside that this is wrong because even in Guru Granth Sahib there are deep impact of Rama and the Ramayana. Very bad thing by govt., hurting people. Even in the congress, many congress man are still Hindu and nationality in their heart. They can not deny for that. Still blood of all of Indians is inspired and motivated by the Lord Ram and the strong religious values that strengthen our life at every way. The intellectuals should come in front to prove the existence of our strong religious belief and the Lord Rama's existence. One place USA (Nasa) proves the existence of Ram Setu even with the time period mentioned in our religion and our sacred books which gives strength to it but on the other hand our own govt. trying to prove it wrong and mythical. It%u2019s really shameful to us that still we have such people who are trying to make our religion, our traditional values prove wrong. How they got the tolerance for saying like this. I am 100% sure that in coming election, Congress will get less than ever recorded votes. No body can give strength to this government. Lets come together and give them the prove in favor of our traditional values and great Ram and Ramayana. God will be with us always. This is the way by which god will give strength to followers who will prove it the existence of Ram and Ramayana for future

why dont you prove that the sethu is not man made instead of saying that there is no proof that it is man made.all the proof before copernicus showed that earth is flat.we cannot prove or disprove super natural things.so why hurt one community that there is no evidence of their god.why not convert all churches and mosques into hospitals saying there is no proof of alla or christ poruri rao

The kind of scientific reasoning used is limited. Even the most intelligent person and the greatest scientist of 20th century, Einstein, had come to believe in a Supreme Power (after being an atheist). That didn't mean he went on to prove the existence of God.
We humans are limited by our senses. It is unwise to scrutinize something that is beyond everything with our limited senses. There is no need for proof - you just need to feel it. You don't go on proving everything that you don't understand. If you want the truth, you need to practise the prescribed path(s) to realize God in whatever form you desire. Others like me, just start with faith in Him.

I am new to this forum, and I saw that Rediff does not display my name, I guess, for the first few days. I am very concerned that many government officials, not only in India, but the world over along with many Media outlets are insensitive to what the people care about. These people have probably attained some form of pseudo enlightenment and they are gung ho about offending people's beliefs. A lot of these arguments are totally unnecessary, and must be avoided.
