In Ramayan it is written existence of aeroplane(pushpak viman) which Lord Rama used to come back from Lanka. This pushpak viman is made out of mantra sakthi. Now we are making the aeroplanes with yantra sakthi. without the existence of pushpak viman valmiki cannot imagine to write about this (pushpak viman) 100000 years ago. This itself is a evidence for the existence of Ramaya. Now Since has not developed to the extent of olden days mantrasakthi. It is slowly developing. If Ram sethu is there for another 200 years Man can proove it is built by Ram.

I know you know English learn little science also and dont try to snatch everything from wright brothers. Fact is this man evolved on this earth just 80,000 yeras ago and modern man just 10000 years ago while civilzed world evolved 5000 years ago and mechanical world come into existence just 1200-1500 years ago and computer world just 50 years ago. So realize the fact Ram Setu formation took place 1,750,000 years ago and amny believes it is older then that. Either believe God has supernatural power or believe God is ascientist. Dont mix together to prove urself right.

I saw that lot of people cursing, abusing Musilms and Christians in this blog. But my dear friend the question of Ram existence is raised by our Hindu brothers, from lot of us speciallt lefties, most of the hindus believes that Ramayana and Mahabharta is just a tale its a myth. We are not strong in our religion, we do not respect our religion. But Musilms and christian do and they give respect and ask others also to do same.

Sometime back I read in Competetive Success, a magazine that many Group 1 exam takers prepare had secion on persons Past, mentioned Jesus 4B.C Budha ~500BC Mohemmed ~500AD there they showed Valmiki ~800BC and Vedavyas ~800BC as Sanskrit poets, who wrote stories, why didn;t this agitation takes place then? You lnow more thing Valmiki is contemperor of Ram as per Ramayana... how it is possible one who lived 170000years back and one who lived in 800BC can be contemperors? Is History wrong?

Dear Vishnu, The documentation of any occurance may not happen at the time of occurance itself and so we should not confuse that the time of documentation is the time of occurance. In olden days, wirtting was not invented, and so for generations, Ramayan was just carried on by words listened from elders. Finally Valmiki documented te whole thing and gave it. This does not meam that Valimiki got birth with Lord Ram. For your example of the earth, reaerchers contrdicted the belief only when they were able to prove that otherwise. here we are telling a long believed fact wrong because we are not able to prove it with the present technologies.

We need to take in scientific facts when we look in to issues. Beliefs are different from facts. If Hindus are not able to accept that some of their beliefs are not scientific facts then they will only get backward with passing of time and God help us then. If we just hold on to beliefs overlooking facts then we become liars in front of our children. Then Hinduinsm will only get to lose. The Ramayana is not entirely based on facts. How do we explain the 'Vanar Sena' if it is fully facts. Will not people living down south be offended in that case?

I am a proud Muslim Indian and on this matter of importance to Hindus, I would like to quote a great christian scholar whose name I cannot recall right now. Please note that I do not remember the exact words, but it goes something like "For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, no explanation is possible".

there's no proof of muhamed and family or jesus or his family, yet it is amazing to see the west and the europe spend millions and billions to continue in the name of human philosophy. even for a non-hindu- the philosophy- not ritual- of ramayan, bhagvad geeta and mahabharat are of enormous value in terms of higher awareness. it just seems that india no longer needs mughal and british invaders to destroy its heritage, culture, philosophy, anything. spineless "us" are enough to do that to us.

Miss Prreti let me bring to your notice that Prophet mohammed (SAW) and jesus came to this world to preach. Quran, the holy book of muslims, which we all follow is been sent by allah through his messenger prophet mohammed. I mean no offense to Christianity or Islam by saying that "Adam" is a faith. Not a fact. In Hinduism we called him "Manu". Suprisingly the story is similar in many faiths. Faith doesnt need proof. Just because the Ram came 1000s of years before the Christ or Prof Mohammed, it doesnt make Ram mythology. By this logic Christ, Mohammed and Ram are mythology since none of us have seen them. The holy books that we see today could very well be fiction written say 400 years ago. Conspiracy theory since there was no internet or media then. But we believe that these books are genuine and that is our Faith.
