This is called the real kalyug. Even gods are required to prove their identity in front of courts. I feel even if god appears and says that I do exist these politicians will say that this is a gimmick of opposition. Only God can save our nation. But which God?????

i believe in what the hondu spirituality and philosophy speak. i too believe what the Bible tells. the spirituality of Hinduism is really deep and a matter of meditations in different forms. How many of us have really meditated about it and really know of it. if we really experience these spiritualities of the world, we have no time to fight in the name of Religions. a person who is religious, must be able to assimilate and accommodate it in a constructive way. that is a spirituality. that is really a religion. that we have to take it for life. BUT what we do now? what are our languages which we use to express our ideas and opinions. what do we communicate to a nation or people? that we are aggressive and unaccommodative. dont forget when u speak of sonias motives which she never thought of, that a lot of foriegners from many countries have our true hindu spirituality and way of life adopted and live in different Ashrams in India and abroad. they speak of us so interestigly and with a lot of respect. NOW i wonder if we, indians are still 100 years behind of living our own true spirituality !! why dont we stop of mixing RELIGION and DEVELOPMENT. what we think our needs and priorities are? to develop india as the best nation, spiritually and materially. it is shameful that we still are in the grip of religious Fanatism which is aggressive and arragant, which teaches and helps us to be so. let us not be bound by some persons or Gods but by the happiness and peace that the
Most controvercial and Anti-Hindu initiative taken by this govt. It never happened in the history of India for THOUSANDS OF YEARS. How dare somebody question the very existence of GOD RAMA ? Let us all unite and start a campaign. e-mail campaign,silent protests etc. Looks like puppet PM is sleeping while his men make such statements with total freedom. To build a bridge, they need not go to this extent. Quite SHOCKING this is .

Absolutely right. This should be taken as dare devil of the present govt and all should come together to oppose the move of the present GoI irrespective of cast and even religion. We all follow some religion or other. And religions have some believes and faiths that need to be respected by all the people of the society. Govt or any of its body should not raise such issues that can heart the sentiment of one particular religion and its followers. Not only Hindus, rather everybody should oppose the move taken by Govt. and Archaeological Survey of India and reject the same. Archaeological Survey of India should keep in mind that science came later and it has taken many religious matter as challenge for them to prove. So religion and religious faith & believes cannot be rejected by saying that it does not have "historical record".

It is really rediculus to argue in the S C that Ram did not exsist neither other characters in Ramayana. Hence Setu Bridge had no religious or historical value. What a pity . If UPA , for that matter the DMK Chief, can they point out their fingure to Muslims and to Christains about Mohamed and Jesus? Hey were only preahers of a particular tribe 200 years ago and raised to Revernece by thier followers. I am afraid not. Why should UPA touch the sentiments of Hindus? At least now we do not have any religion based dispute for the past one year. For God sake, please stop this nonsense. Let us live in peace and harmony among all religions. Technically, the Canal thru Ram Sethu is un economical. Only ships with 25000 DWT can sail thru the canal.Today all ocean going continer vessles are 65000 DWT and above and VLCC is 400, 000DWT. The revenue comes from these ships only As it is there is hardly any noticable coastal trade connecting East to West coast of India.Moreover, Ram Sethu is not in the international sea route . No benifit will be accrued for international ships and indian ships passing thru the canalwhich are larger in size as mentioned above. It has no strategic importance , unlike Egypt and Panama canal, whcih reduce the distance between West to East and of the Atlantic based countries to Far East, whcih otherwise have to circumvent Africa / S. i completely agree with this argument... This can happen in a pitiable India alone... I dont think any other country in the world behaves this irresponsibly.Can anyone prove the existence of christ or allah? even if one cant prove, does anyone render such grave disrespect to those figures? It happens in India. It happens in Cong. government. These are the people who claim to be seculars- secularism, in their view means anti-hindu. Shame on these people. I cant understand how they can survive their conscience while ruining the country like this.
