Our level of sanity is tested when our discretion remains intact and doesn%u2019t get affected by the happenings of the global events. Neither anti terrorism movement is anti Islamic nor digging a canal in ramsethu samudram is anti hindu. Surprised to see the degree of vehemence expressed by so many seemingly educated people in this blog. Don%u2019t build the canal if it damages the ecological balance but not for any other reason. The acceptability of this should not be a function of whether some one dared to touch if it Islamic or Christian. The moment people react in such irrational way the country can not prosper.
Having said that I personally believe that the leaders of followers of Islam in India should have accepted Atal Behari Vajpayee%u2019s offer to make best use of the latest technology available and physically move the Babri Masjid in tact to an acceptable location and prevent the events led to its unfortunate demolition. But two wrongs will not make one right! I can never understand this obduracy! How many temples, mosques, churches get inundated and washed away when we accept building a big dam. Why no one protest then?
For India%u2019s prosperity ramsethu canal should be built if it does not damage the ecological balance.

No need to demolish! Just relocate them to a place with all the dignity it deserves. Ask any Maulvi (many a saner Maulvi exist) to do that and help him if you can.

If it has been BJP led government then the ARCH. department would have not been said so.Congress is a government of Non-Hindus. What if there are no proofs,cant they just respect HINDU sentiments if this is country of HINUDS.
Let us not behave like the desert cults. Rama is not a historical figure, he is a symbol of higher consciousness. Our religion is deep, let us not sink to the level of cult like religions. The nation requires projects for our economic development. Dont force "Rama" go against economic common sense.

Look .. I agree to u on economic development but how u can say a 'Setu Samudram' gives u much more faster economical development. where u can find low frequency of trains passing and more.
There is no historical evidence that there was persons like Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. They were just characters in Indian History as Rama.
