why don't you go about proving the existance of Ram and all the other characters. Ramayana and Mahabharata are epic stories and nothing else written by a HUMAN BEING. So get your facts right first.

I fully agree. Get united not for destructive purpose but for constructive purpose. Also its time now else we will treated like dofs by these so called secular politicians..
Politicians do know that Hindus never unite thus have full confidence in Muslim vote bank. Its time to change now.
Why are we spending so much time and money on a god which doesn't exist? Just think with your minds not with your hearts...There is no Jesus, no Allah and no Ram...Just look at what happened to the Greeks and their gods...or the Romans or Egyptians and their mighty gods...Religion is just one big superstition which we are blindly following...Religion is truly the opium of the masses...There are so many religions in this world...not one can prove the existence of their god...Why doesn't 'God' show himself and settle this issue...?

Waht u say is rt viper....but can u make this world a religion free world???You can't Whole communist world has collapsed.The the same ppl who sais it is opium are supporting it officially.You just can't have idealistic world.Religion is just as natural as fear,faith,crime,violesnce.As long they religion too.Comeout of ur hallucination unto the real world.Think of the practical world problem.So will live live in countless religion world ....hence you got to adopt to it. So don't hurt others.Today it is Hindu's. Also hindus are so timid even after blatant minority appeasemnt they can't realise waht those "secular bigot's are doing....i quote Jesus's line "God Forgive them for they dont know aht they are doing".
Your statement about Greeks,Roman's is rt.But do u want that to happen in india??I guess u r not born to hindus.At the end waht will happen someother religion will come and take its place just like christianity has done.So all hinsu will become christinas if your theory is rt. If that being the case, why do christians consider Jesus as messenger of God, who just could die a brutal death along with couple of other robbers. He is a simple man who lived and died, why do people follow his preachings and rever him next to god.
So is Mohammad Prophet, why should he be revered so much for just being a human, who is best known for the brutal ways of killing Meccans and rival Arab tribesmen to convert them to Islam.

Ramayan is not about a hero, a heroin and a villain...Its a story of morals telling the enlightened way to live life...Everybody in this story served his/her duty honestly without thinking of outcomes...If you look at it in a broader way you feel that every charachter in this story is a hero...
Is it not correct that occasionally we be guided by religious, moral or any other beliefs. Yes there may be no proof that the Rama Sethu was indeed built by Lord Ram, but the government is treading on very dangerous ground by saying that there is no evidence that God exists.
Yes we all know that there is no evidence that God exists, but don't we still pray to Him every day? Don't we still celebrate Diwali, Eid and Christmas?
The "secular" parties are playing a dangerous game by offending the majority community of the nation, and such reckless behaviour may endanger the security of the entire country.

Sad that it has come to this. These racist governments can go no end to do what they want and achieve. Ramarsethu can be man made or natural. But the fact reamins that Hindus allover the world have looked upon it and read it from the ramayana, one on the most famous religious epics ever. Now If the government wants to break this barrier for making money... then thats sad. Let us leave the history alone. Look at environmental impact that is predicted. One side of the bridge is cold while the other is warmer water. Opening it up would mean wiping out the corals and reefs that thrive on the specific climatic condictions. Now also look at the plan as proposed by the Govt.. They want to do some crap spending a projected 600 crores of out tax. God only knows how much Karunanidhi and his siblings will get on this. not to mention other congress chanchas. Now i'm not targetting any political party but then I guess all of us have to stand up and get counted. we need to pass the information to all that we can and build a resistance to this stupid initiative by the Govt. please join me in communicating this to other sane people and forming the resistance. we indians are required to think logically before coming to any conclusion. There are no of people like Shakespeare, Gate, Bhaas, etc all over the world, who have written beautiful dramas/literature, but no where in the world one finds people are celebrating the brithdate of any role in that literature/epic. But contrarary to this, we indians are celebrating ramnavmi and krishnajanmashtami for centuries together, only because Ram and Krisha took birth
