Do not belittle faith
by MBotha on Sep 12, 2007 05:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Being a Muslim, I do understand the outrage of Hindus. As far beliefs are concerned I might be miles apart from Hindu brethren, but as a practicing believer i feel very sad at this sorry state of affairs of our country. Govt should be resolving problem and not be a problem.

There are some miscreant, devious minds on this board trying to inflame and settle personal messaging fights, which is very unfair.

For the muslim members I would ask not to abuse any religion and if others are doing it to you, it is their naivety and ignorance pleas be patient with them. If anyone abuses my faith I do get hurt.

Does not Allah command you:

"O believers, be you securers of justice, witness for God. Let not detestation for a people move you not to be equitable; be equitable - that is nearer to God-fearing." (5:8)

"You who believe, do not let one (set of) people make fun of another set."
"Do not defame one another."
"Do not insult by using nicknames."
"Do not backbite or speak ill of one another."
(49:11-12)

"There should be no coercion in the matter of faith." (2:256)

Is there proof of Jesus coming back to life after death
by Rahul Guru on Sep 12, 2007 05:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When Da Vinci code was to be released in India the same government put obstacles in its release. the release was delayed and the film could only be released with a pre view text saying "all characters and events in this movie are fictional....etc...". THe whole world was laughing at India because the film had been released all over the world (in christian dominated countries of the west) without a fuss or protest. The Indian government did not want to upset the feelings of the christians in India(2-3% of the population). A very noble gesture. THERE IS NO PROOF OF JESUS COMING BACK TO LIFE AFTER DEATH. THEN WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT ASKING FOR PROOF OF RAM... JUST RESPECT THE FEELINGS OF HINDUS...LIKE YOU DO FOR OTHER RELIGIONS...WHY THIS DISCRIMINATION

Lord Ram was born in 5114 BC - continued
by DS Srikanth on Sep 12, 2007 05:16 PM  Permalink

And if you choose archaeology to dig beyond 7,000 years, you'd have to dig more than 60 metres %u2013 something not being done in India as yet. So, archaeology is not the only answer. There's a lot of objective research of another kind that needs to be carried out in earnest. So, how can we say Ram was born on January 10, 5114 B.C... My colleague Pushkar Bhatnagar of Indian Revenue Service is the real originator of this theory. He acquired a software named Planetarium, used to predict planetary movements and configurations. By entering in this software, precise details of planetary positions vis-à-vis zodiac constellations described by Maharishi Valmiki in the Valmiki Ramayan, it is possible to determine important dates starting from Shri Ram's birth-date to the date of his return to Ayodhya. More than just Ram's date of birth... The results have not just thrown up Shri Ram's date of birth; it has actually traced the entire sequence of incidents throughout Ramayan. Pushkar Bhatnagar starts with tracing Ram's birth. Then he moves ahead in the narrative. Valmiki Ramayan states Ram was 25-years-old when he went to exile. When the configuration of planets described at this point is fed into the software, the date thrown up matches perfectly with Ram's age at that juncture of his life - 25years. Again in the 13th year of Ram's exile, during a war with Khar and Dushan, Valmiki describes a solar eclipse. The software proves that on that given day there was indeed a solar eclipse (with

Stop humiliating Hindus
by vijay kikkeri on Sep 12, 2007 05:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The very existance of the bridge it self is a proof to the fact that Rama existed. Yes, if you destroy all the proofs, and then ask fo the proof then where will you find ?

It is unfortunate that our basic faiths are questioned and hindus are humiliated so frequently in this hindu majority country

The mount road in Chennai faces extreme traffic jams during rush hour everyday near "Thousand Lights" because of the presence of the Thousand Lights Mosque adjacent to the road!! These traffic jams cause a lot of problems to commuters and to all chennai people alike

1. Firstly the traffic congestion here causes numerous accidents.
2. Wastage of fuel because lot of vehicles are stuck in traffic but still continue to use more fuel.
3. Noise pollution and air pollution.

I therefore suggest the ruling DMK and UPA government to demolish a part of the mosque and widen the road so that all such traffic congestions can be avoided!!!
This would be a gr8 developement to Chennai and I am sure all dravidian parties and UPA wouldn't stall this project as it now constitutes to the development of the Country!!!
What do you guys say??

It is ok to support Minorties but not on cost of Hindus religious beleif. Our Govt does not have resources to prove identity of Lord Ram.
It is Shame on their part to say that Ramayana never existed.

What about evidence to suggest Allah or Mohammed or Jesus existed? The same 'religious scriptures'? In that case can we do away with Govt subsidising Haj as no evidence of Allah or Mohammed exists?..or are the leaders looking for evidence of Vote bank?

True facts are hard to digests
by BahujanHitay BahujanSukhay on Sep 12, 2007 05:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Friends, true facts are always hard to digest. It is true fact that, Ayodha so called place of birth of Ram doesn't have any evidence to show that he was existed there after lot of digging and archological exercises to prove somthing. But at last it revealed that today's Ayodhya is yesterday's Saket. Buddha frequently visited this place. It was found remians of big Buddhist monastry at the place of so called Ramjanmabhumi. It is better to live in a reality than delusion. Anyway the so called Ram sethu is not a Temple but a peice of land formed beneath the sea which is obstructing passage of ships. There is no point in wasting money and time for ships to travel long way. So it is better to have a passage between so called Ramsethu for ships to travel. There is no point in beating your chest in vain.

We want to know the truth itself. The truth is the vatican agenda that is getting implemented through Sonia. All missionaries have followed the same procedure from centuries and now Sonia is publicly doing this.
