great points !!! This is slap on the faces of those who are ruling India. They cant get a proof of how it happend just 2007 yr ago but they are talking about something that happened 10000 yrs ago. Any doubt that they are brainless?
Someone should tell our secullar leaders that "Ram setu" is mentioned in Ramayana many-many years before a american satellite searched Adam's Bridge on the same location where ram Setu was expected. I think its enough to prove the truth. Actually our governement need votes of 25 Coreores of Muslims. And we hindus are already have no faith on our god(as our people are supporting demolition of that holy bridge, actually we hindus are in real mean "Kafir" having no religion and faith). We are actually salves. So no one cares for our emotions.

That's the difference between Hindu and Muslims. We Hindu's are not extremist. We are educated we try to find the truth not just believe in something what our grandfather taught us. Also we don't heart other feelings.
When Da Vinci code was to be released in India the same government put obstacles in its release. the release was delayed and the film could only be released with a pre view text saying "all characters and events in this movie are fictional....etc...". THe whole world was laughing at India because the film had been released all over the world (in christian dominated countries of the west) without a fuss or protest. The Indian government did not want to upset the feelings of the christians in India(2-3% of the population). A very noble gesture. THERE IS NO PROOF OF JESUS COMING BACK TO LIFE AFTER DEATH. THEN WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT ASKING FOR PROOF OF RAM... JUST RESPECT THE FEELINGS OF HINDUS...LIKE YOU DO FOR OTHER RELIGIONS...WHY THIS DISCRIMINATION

Da Vinci Code is not an imaginary story. it is a version that some people believe in. what I want to say here is that when there was so much of a fuss on releasing the film in India then why not show the same respect to the bekiefs of hindus

Most of the comments are illogical. You should come up with proper logic when you claim something. You people behave like a politician with Hindu sentiment.
it is a differnt issue whether Rama existed or not; but waht is the harm in respecting a millenia-old myth and belief?! why the stupids can't take any of the other alternatives? would the earth stop moving if they do that??

The only mistake Ravana did was seeking a married women that cost his life. This congress has done no.of bigger mistakes than that and it still exists. I'm waiting for Congress killer.

Yes we are also aware about a story called the Koran. Good one it is. Ram Gopal Varma is making a movie next on it.
Reading the news of "the Centre telling the Supreme Court that there was no historical evidence to establish the existence of Lord Ram or the other characters in Ramayana", is really really shocking one. Just see how the country is led by the leaders which even don't know what really Spirituality is. Todays leaders are real fools and rascals.They pose themselves to be caretakers of the citizens very well.But, do they even consider to be on the path of "Ramarajya".The Ramayana is not just a Holy Book, but it is the scripture, which comprimises of the life story of Lord Rama and if we are reading or listening thhem from pure source, then there is purifying result within our heart. The activities of Lord are not same as that of ordinary huma being.But, He is so merciful that He comes and shows us the path of the highest vitues. That gives us a hope that we can follow in that footsteps.Then, our life is successful.
God is not order supplier that He should leave behind Him the Historical events or proofs that He exists.The people who ask the origin and since when "Ramayan" become religious book are the fools, who even don't know from where they are originated? Before taking present birth, where they were? What's their origin? ...If you are not able to understand your own identity, then how can you understand God? So, first understand that who you are? That's first step in the Spiritual Life..Then only you can unerstand, who is Lord Rama? What's Ramayana is all about?

Hi, i think this report has been propounded by the ASI and not by the government. Please read the news carefully before coming to conclusions.
Now they are questinoning the very existence of hinduism ....what is the supporting sardar PM upto and what does the italian lady wants evryone to be ...They don't have belief in what we follow....
I feel we should vote them out...
HAD this been done to anyother caste they would have rooted apart this nation

Dear Friend, do not get angry. One thing we all need to accept that in the name of God and Ram, many people died and many have become victims.
Does not matter whether RAM was there or not, lets not forget that biggest religion is Humanity. We do not even trespect that so why should worry about God.
