it is a belief held by hindus. Islam on a contrary is a religion based on practises followed in 6th Century BC. However it is believed tooth and nail.
Whereas the govt doesnt go against muslims or christianity which i think is based on vote bank. but hindus dont vote based on their religion hence the govt takes the liberty to do anything aginst the hindus.

Some time back NASA had released photographs showing a link between Rameshwaram and Sri Lanks. The images clearly shows proof of the existance of the bridge. WHAT else proof do these so called people in the GOVT who have no self religion leave alone HUMANITY. I agree to u no one will answer that specially not congress who is just a bunch of politicians who want to do anything which is non traditional to prove that they are modern and secular...though suedo .selective approval of public sentiment proves idelogical bankruptcy.
Will this upa stop the subsidy for Haj pilgrims saying that it is also a mythology like Ramayana going to Mecca and throwing stones etc. Why we are having Asoka chakra ? We Indians are great in changing our colours for selfilsh motives. Will they say that Ramayana is a myth so why temples in Ayodhya, Rameswaram Tirupathy Mathura Amarnath Birla temple Delhi Dwaraka etc. etc. etc.
Scientists never challenge the existence of God. The manifestations in nature are so unstable that even the science so far known to human history has failed to define them. Science is only evolving. Science is uncertainty with proof and faith is certainty without proof. If historical records are not available to prove the existence of Lord Rama then who are responsible. Did America not exist befire Columbus? It is sheer myopic that we fall back on limited records called human history. Who is that great fool to say that we do not exist because history has no record of how human form came into being. Let Dwarwin not dabble in genetics. Monkey cannot evolve into human form. We have no history of our forefathers and therefore we do not exist. Is that ok? No govt in the West look at Christ that way. Of course we are secular.

They cannot..because there are actually written historical evidence of existense of Christ and Mohhamad. The reason for this is Christ, Mohammad walked on earth not so long ago (they were here in the period of written history). There were papyrus found, documents of historian of those days mentioning Jesus, the events written in Bible matching the events in history, all these proves existence ..Get your facts right
