Our politicians really donot bother to the feelings of Indian Majarities, huh even during the elections. They simply try to lure the "the claimed" minorities. The reality is the majories are being treated as minorities. Shame on our politics. They care a bit for others feelings infront of their personal benefits. There was a management study report showcasing the useless investment on this project, as the majority of sea traffic from Europe and USA donot opt for this route anyway. Then for whose sake the govt is so willingly doing this and not even caring for the much sought Rivers interlinking project, which will do lots of benefits to the people living on the land.

THEY NEED THE PROOF THAT WHETHER IT IS CONSTRUCTED BY MONKEYS OR IS IT A NATURAL STRUCTURE.IF IT IS A NATURAL STRUCTURE THAN THEY CAN DESTROY IT .IF IT IS CONSTRUCTED BY MONKEYS THEN IT WILL REMAIN.
There are so many stories in all religions which will be good. It is all subjective to one who is reading it, some people find it entertaining and some have religious reverence to it. But the point is making comments like one you made solves no purpose anyway. Please be sensible and do not say anything that hints to result in bad communal enviornment.

This is clearly sending a message that the leftists and the atheist TN chief minister are calling shots here.
Lord Rama is an icon and revered by millions. It would be a fool who brushes aside the scriptures and say there is no evidence to prove anything. The government should have taken into consideration the sentiments of millions. As can be expected, the unorganized majority does not form a vote bank and so there is nothing at stake.
Most of the government ministers took oath of office by the name of God. Now who told them that God exists?
Our respected PM and centre should start talking on practical grounds!There is no proof of Jesus also historically although he is very new to us compared to Rama!Same is true for any religious belief in the world.Then why the hell Churches,Mosques and temples are allowed in this country.Congress must ban the religion in this country and go communist way! But it is not the case!Their dirty politics is infront of the people of india!WHy congress party made hue and cry over Ayodhya demolition then? Some historians like Romila Thapar who is an agent of Vatican is the advisor of this congress govt! Many things are not known and proved as per historical evidences!Does that mean we override the sentiments of masses! Dual standards however when it comes to minority vote banks!Then this same PM will start having sleepless nights!

guys re-read the last line of this article it says it all:
'The Centre and state of Tamil Nadu are hell bent on removing Ram Sethu as they have refused to take any of six alternative routes suggested for Sethusamudram.'
