So called Adam's bridge between Dhanushkoti & Srilanka is a Geological feature. The bridge as mentioned in Ramayana was made with stones or some other material was actually floating one. Those who are opposing the Setusamunderam project should first read Ramayana. Moreover, Dhnushkoti from where the bridge actually originated was submerged naturally in 1964. There is no Dhanushkoti now. The Adam's bridge which we call as Ramsetu is a chain of islands between India & Srilanka formed millions of ago due to movement of Indian landmass nortward. These islands are also now submerged. So there is no Ramsetu as such as mentioned in Ramayana.Nature has already destroyed whatever it was. Indra Mohan

Its quite disturbing to see indian government having no respect for people's emotions and ever ready to ridicule the hindu beliefs. Yes, hinduism is like any other religion with its beliefs and tradition. Please donot make fun and not to take people following the religion for granted. Is it possible to the indian govt to say there is no evidence of Allah/Christ etc.
Valmiki Ramayan is the proof.. But unfortunately our government is full of atheists, antagonists, non - believers. Can I ask these people, where is their mind or brain? Can they show that to me or have they seen their brain themselves? That's why India is behind many other countries because it doesn't value it's spiritual wealth. Congress, BJP, Shiv Sena, BSP, SP etc.. are all part of the same group. Whatever they are doing is for their own benefit. But anyway Lord Ram is a reality which materialistic persons can't fathom. That is the beauty of Lord Ramchandra, only devotees can see Him.
What is the proof that God exists? What is the proof that Christ existed? What is the proof that Profet Mohd existed? What is the proof that what we see is true? We see sun, moon, flowers, rivers,sky, land, birds, animals, humans, etc. What is the proof that it is all real? Just because we convince ourselves that they look the way they are or they are the way they look? If such criteria are to be applied, nothing and nobody is real including those in the Government thinking and making affidavits this way. These pseudoseculars are not having Indian brains behind this. Might be Italian!
From Ayodhya, Chitrakoot to Rameshwaram and Lanaka, if you map out every places mentioned in the Ramayana, are exist even today.
(1) How it is possible for a writer to right such a thousands of kilometer long geography and places 3000 years ago? (2) If it is a fiction then how it possible for a writer to established holy sites along that routs? (3) How it is possible for a writer to established respect and faith in everybody throughout India without any effective communication medium.
