When US is going to learn a lesson?
by Omkar Joshi on Sep 13, 2007 12:23 AM  Permalink

I think US is again going on a same track where they helped terrorists like Osama Bin Laden to become what he is today for their own benifit. Again Us is doing the same mistake by not letting Democracy built in Pakistan to continue their WAR with Osama Bin Laden.

If Nawaz issue is internal
by Minto on Sep 12, 2007 10:49 PM  Permalink

If they really feel that Nawaz issue is internal affair of Pakistan then henceforth US should never complain about human rights abuse anywhere in the world. I assume different set of rule applies to General Musharraf as President Bush feels that he is a very valuable US asset.

TITLE IS MISLEADING
by rajat on Sep 12, 2007 10:36 PM  Permalink

And this is not the first time. rediff ought to be sanctioned for this behavior.

I, for one, am already turning to sify.com for news (which isn't all that better). I now come to rediff.com just to entertain myself on how ridiculous this partisan hack of a website that calls itself a news portal is.

Missing leading title
by Narayanan Sangameswaran on Sep 12, 2007 10:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When US has termed the deportation as an internal issue how come it is titled as "US backs Musharaf"?. Official stance of India too is to treat it as an internal issue. Your title to the article is misleading.

I don't think so. Heading is the hidden approval given by US. This is how international diplomacy works

agreed Pandu. However, it is not the media's job to read between the lines. unless this article is an opinion, which it is not, reporting must be accurate, straightforward and unbiased. This article, as are several others on this website, are examples of shameless partisan hackery.
