i'd love to see mr. busharraf meet the same fate. he will definitely pay for it. i dont have any sympathy for any of the politicians. but they will all pay for their transgressions. anyone in any capacity will pay for thier actions at some point of time. musharraf keeping pakistani people in control is akin to him being another saddam.

Hey Mr. Pai...!!! Which world are you living in..?? Prez Musharaff has already been treated on similar lines... In fact, he was almost killed alongwith umpteen number of innocent civilians, when Nawaz Sharif didnt allow his plane (which was carrying a number of civilians also) to land at the airport..!!!
At least Prez Musharaff allowed Nawaz to put his feet on the land and then chose to behave in whatever way followed...!!!
how come pia allowed him to board at u.k. after all pia is a state owned entity, who answers to the calls made from islamabad. this is all staged for gluttons like us. i bet there is a covert understanding between musharraf & sharif. we cannot be so naive not to figure this out. pakistan is a failed state which can get only worse.
Doubt the veracity of the report and the observations of the journalist/witness. The govt officials and police are damned if they follow orders and damned if they dont.
The pvt channels showed a lot of footage which did not appear to be censored, and most of it showed the officials in good light.. as if they were sympathetic but couldn't help the situation.
This topic seems to have been planted purely to drum up some emotional sympathy for the ex-PM.
RE:Report does not seem to be true... to me, of course :)

no, there were scenes of mr. sharif in tears too. maybe yu missed it.

I'm not sure that those tears are a result of humiliation. He looked forlorn, sad, disappointed, dejected.. He must have been crying if that was shown on tv.. But it could have been because things weren't working out as hoped/expected.
NOW MS BHUTTO MUST NOT DO THE SAME AS SHARIF DID. ITS A CASE OF TIT FOR TAT. ONCE WHEN GEN MUSH WAS RETURNING FROM PLANE THEN SHARIFF(HE WAS PM THEN) DENIED HIS PLANE PERMISSION TO LAND BUT SOME HOW HE MANAGED TO LAND AND THUS SAVED HIS LIFE AND NOW ITS GEN MUSH'S CHANCE......SO HE TREATING NAWAZ SHARIFF WITH SAME GENEROSITY AND HOSPITALITY WHICH HE GOT FROM HIM AND ONE MORE THING THAT GENERAL MUSH IS NOT A CORRUPUT LEADER AS OTHER POLITICIANS IN PAK ARE.

while in the power these leaders looted the public money and had every luxery. It is a lesson for every political leader any where in the world that the chair power will not be always with them. hence be sincere with the public and serve them for god sake.

Yeah be sincere and serve the public. But only if the 'GOD' worshipped by these 'public' is ALLAH , ofcourse.
Discouraged to read the contents of above internet news and the treatment meted out to Mian Nawaz Sharif ExPM Pakistan for two times. He should not have ventured out of London as this takes place in Muslim countries. It is a case of Power. Without prejudice.

Fellow is really crazy. Cud he not use his common sense & forsee this situation before attempting to fly to Pak?? Maybe he's doing all this drama to impress ppl & stand in the next elecs.
Nothing wrong with the treatment he got! He is due much more! The ganju patel(Nawaz Sharif) is a big traitor and cheated India, when it extended a friendly hand. And now he realizes that he did it wrong by going for Kargil war. Probably cruelty and cheating is what some religions teach! to survive and this is a good lesson that every bad you do to others, in no time points back at you! and I am sure, Mr.Mush also has something due from Mr.Bush. and Mr.Bush has something due from Laden and Laden has something due from Mr. Mush. If all the dues are cleared, hopefully, that should end the terrorism in the world. I am sorry for talking about religions. But it is true that followers make religion, just like people make a nation. It is very sad that somehow more and more followers in islam are getting carried away with the non-violent tenets, included by perverted people in the preachings of that religion, rather than picking up the good in Islam.
I also have to say that even Christians are no less than terrorists. We can't forget how much they tortured our forefathers before independence and not to say how many they killed for sheer pleasure and for keeping up their authority. They have forgotten all those done in the past and started blaming only islamists as terrorists.
Only followers of Hinduism and it branches like Buddhism, Jainmism are truly non-violent. Ofcourse there are perverts and fanatics in this religion as well, but comparably negligible. But 99% are tolerant

Mr Foolish Adi,
Because of christians, now you are able to write these type of foolish and baseless and hopeless statements.
Christians never did any harm to the India, Meanwhile They unite the India otherwise India may be a kingdom of betrayers and Aragent, Hopeless Hindu rulers. Dont twist the History.

What you say is true, when you equate christians to the English. Because, we would have been decimated if it was not for the British who weeded out brutal sultans and sheikhs from India.

Most benevolent and gentle were the French who ruled Mahe and Pondichery. Any other foreign rulers or Indian Kings or sultans or who ever you say, were no where near to them in terms of compassion and benevolence.

Fellow Indians, understand that when ever we speak of India getting plundered, we are speaking about our forefathers getting plundered. Whether they are christians or muslims or hindus, doesnt matter. The reason we were plundered is simple. Divided communities / kingdoms. Were are now strong, we have had presidents like Abdul Kalam, prime ministers like Narasimha rao, Vajpayee and Patel.
We must not identify with the western or middle eastern countries, and their cultures. We must identify with India as Indians. Religion should have no role in our march to progress, nor caste and religion in the form of reservations.

Yes yes, very tolerant post mr.hindu. I wonder why muslims feel instigated to attack sweet hindus like yourself?! And since when did 'british' equal 'christians'? If you would look up history you will see that the reason british occupied India was to plunder all our resources not for the pleasure of torturing hindus. You think indian sikhs, muslims or even christians had a good time under their rule?

some christians did, they inherited several plum plots and estates. of course, that was when the british left eventually. this isnt to say that the Christians were'nt unpatriotic. just that there are places like coorg & north east where Christians were beneficiary of the british largesse.
It is not as if in India we treat people graciously despite differences. This has happened in Indian politics regularly since emergency. Then in the nineties it was all started again in Tamil Nadu with Jayalalitha being arrested in her house and lodged in jail. Then followed Mr Karunanidhi's turn as Jayalalith tried to get even. Now this wretched saga is being played out in Punjab. What is happening in Pakistan is the worst!

As you sow so you reap goes the proverb and it has reflected on Sarif's life soon. There is nothing wrong in his immediate deportation but the way it was handled is debatable. What a surprise Manmohan, Mahesh Bhatt and Sonia are silent on this issue and have not voiced their concern to the minority country's former premier? Are they spineless to express their displeasure meted out to a former premier of our neighbour country who was instrumental in encouraging and deploying terrorist to our country and shedding crocodile tears latter. People like Sarif including Benazir, have looted their respective governments have abused their authority with the patronage of the foolish electorate who keep dreaming of them as their savior, only to be let down to the grave.
