The great British governors created the mess of Partition. Probably they themselves were not aware of the seeds of the moster being created in the process of divide and rule between Muslims and Hindus of the then unified India. Now let the unification be funded by them. It will probably cost the world a lot less to unify India and Pakistan into one nation, than the cost of war on terrorism.
Just as expected ! Usurper Musharaff chose the safest and smoothest way out of the trouble that Sharif might pose for him in Pakistani politics. I am sure , Musharaf had the decision approved in advance by USA, Taliban and Al Qaida. But this may be a very temporary and illusory respite for the usurper in the long run.
Just compare the quick decision being taken by Musharraf. Nawaz Sharif is quickly sent back to Saudi Arabia. He doesn't even care for international pressure and even doesn't bother the fact that Nawaz Sharif was democratically elected PM of pakistan. And look at our Indian government.Afzal guru who plotted the parliament attack is still being provided Biryani in the Jail and hanging him is a distant possibility.Because the Indian govt. worries that that would aggravate the terrorism problem in J&K

Rather too quick to be of much use in the future. Dear Aadi, do not forget India is a stable democracy where decision making does not depend on individual whims and caprices pampered by foreign masters and sponsors like USA, Saudi Arabia and international Mullah-terrorist mafia gangs. Our ministers and decision makers are accountable to parliament, state assembly and people at large.

Does Mr.PKS Sarin's observation indicate that Supreme court sentenced Afzal Guru due to pressure from countries like USA and the government's decision not to execute it shows India's stability as a democracy?

no one will help us in this regard. Its our war and we have to fight it and win also. We can't wait for US,Russia,Japan & China to help us. Our Indian politicians are so spineless that Israel had offered help to India to destroy the Kahuta nuclear reactor of Pakistan in 1982.Just during that time Israel had succesfullt destroyed Iraq's nuclear reactor.However we refused to take Israel's help for vote bank politics and on the contrary condemned Israel for attacking Iraq. We would have been in a much safer zone had the Kahuta reactor been destroyed as pakistan wouldn't have been in position to assemble the Nuclear Bomb which it tested soon after the 1998 pokhran test.
