These chinks want to drive out Biharis/Hindi speaking people and want taxpayers money to wage a war against the state. They have met their match in the Bangladeshis. If the government wants to get full control over this area, it should dive out all Bangladeshis and allow people from other parts of India to settle there and outnumber the chinks.

You stink!! Do u know why northeast and kashmir are burning today? because of people of ur mentality. All these issues are related to development of the region. Such nthings dont happen overnight, continuous govt negligence creates such problems. And once such a problem starts we send our army to fix these issues, which commit enormous human rights violations and even the terrorists starts getting support from local people. Create jobs for the people, develop industry, improved agriculture, only that can solve the problems, be it in kashmir or north east. Read something, gain some knowledge about the problems in those areas before u comment on it. By the way, one of those inferior chink state has got highest literacy in india and one has got highest number of civil servants. We took kashmir and noreast for granted, because they were not mainstream indian states n fgor politicians they have got fewest number of lok sabha seats. Can one think of applying "army's special powers act" in hyd to supress the muslim terrorists? NO, but in kashmir n noreast such laws r in place.

people like you should be thrown out of this country..people like u r the culprits..
DELHI CAN NEVER ADDRESS THESE ISSUES. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT GOVT SITTING IN DELHI KNOW REALITIES ON GROUND ? THESE ISSUES CAN BE SOLVED ONLY WHEN DELHI EMPOWERS LOCAL / STATE BODIES TO DO WHAT IS NEEDED ? DEVOLUTION OF POWER AND RESPOSNIBILITY IS NEEDED HERE. HOW CAN A FEW GOVT BABUS & MINISTERS SITTING IN DELHI SOLVE THESE ISSUES .

Even indian minorities are scared of the blame on them because of the deeds of outsiders like bangladesis. Government should not think that indian minorities will not invite this if they try to bring in bangladesis whose country is also turning up as a failed state like pakistan.

Yes,your comment seems to be true.If the indian government does not take a strong action against the bangladesh infiltrants, surely there will be a threat to our integrity in future. If its not the government going to take some action against these infiltrants, people should start a moment against this.
the leftists say india should not befriend usa, that will only increase envy and insecurity of our neighbours. now this india of ours has really very good and friendly neighbors. the great country pakistan by name has occupied part of kashmir and most terrorist works in india are handiwork of pakistan. the noble chinese neighbor has kept part of kashmir under their occupation, wants the erstwhile nefa completely and are occupying a large chunk of india. this great neighbor of ours is continually aiding pakistan, the insurgents in ne india besides giving all support to the so-called naxalites. they occupied tibet completely illegally and our left front is not aware of the imperialistic and barbaric nature of china. india fought for the bengali muslims of east pakistan to get their independence and bangladesh. in return bangladesh is continually troubling india at all levels. they are severely anti-indian and another hot bed of terrorist activity. both the central and state governments keep their eyes closed when millions of muslims enter india from bangladesh and carry out every nefarious anti-indian activity. bangladesh's hands are all wet with blood of millions of bengali hindus. india helps nepal and sri lanka in every sphere and that makes them worst enemies of india. so, as the left parties say, india should pamper these noble friendly neighbors, give in to their all "friendly" demands, and should never consider usa as its stragic partner. after all hindu indians' life
The only solution to this problem is to wipe bangladesh out of this map and establish indian rule there. Otherwise after 50 - 60 years north east india will become part of india historic map. why our politicians are not focussing it. Soon it will be all muslims across north east. Waiting for a new Patel.

perhaps you are right. but indian hindus are civilized. in the 1965 war when indian military occupied beyond lahore and almost completely conquered sindh, india could have easily annexed these two states. and after taking over east pakistan india should have annexed east bengal. but hindus are never barbarians to that extent.
An eye opener indeed for we Indians in slumber. I think, BJP, instead of barking like mad dogs at 123 Nuke Deal should make this kind of potentially dangerous developments, the real issues to corner the inactive and often impotent Governements- both at the Centre and the concerned States.
Am really not surprised by the article, alarmist though it may sound.Delhi's rulers, irrespective of the ruling party, cannot see beyond their own noses. When cities like Mumbai, leave alone the N East, face the brunt of terrorism, our Delhi babus & netas talk casually about the Spirit of Mumbai, to hide their cowardice and inaction.Under the Congress, which has used Gandhi's ahimsa as an excuse for their spinelessness, India stands out as a safe sanctuary for terrorists. We really miss men of action like Sardar Patel, instead of the eunuchs that masquerade as leaders from the Congress. Assam, the Naxals... the list gets depressingly longer, while our Neros in Delhi fiddle away.
I am thankful to all those who took all the pain to write this story. It is an eye opener. All political parties know this. This is happening to North Bengal also. Simply they migrate from BD, politicians ask them to vote for them & in return these BD people get Ration Card & voter ID card, Very simple. Next they inform their near & dear ones, they arrive here, the same politician arranges the ration card & Voter ID card, in return of his vote. Politicians do know that these people would surely come to cast their vote & original Indians stay at home thinking it is a paid holiday. This is the way, how NE is boiling & why there are so many unsatisfied people. Please forward this to all the Indians so that 2moro there can be much awareness about the NE problems. Thanks.
I really enjoyed the article. have lived and grown up in the North East, with travels all across, have experienced different feelings : Fear, Warmth, Alienated, Sentimental, Dead Sic, all that but the states are a unique lot. Yes. the tragedy is going beyond proportion, Bangladesh shall annex the state thru their protege / infiltrators that abound and are granted socila status thru the states.
A case in point : Look at the immense corruption prevalent in Nagaland, all the residents of the state who come to the metros Mumbai, Dli, Kolkata, B'lore are the ones most visble on the High Street, where is the source? Corruption / Siphoning off funds is an accepted practice all across the Region.
Shillong - once a cauldron of Communal and Tribal, Anti Tribal conflicts, the typical Outsider - Local version, is today single mindedly supporting a Bengali Contestant "Amit Roy' to be their choice for the Indian Idol. This has happened primarily because today a large number of residents have family living and working outside the state and realise that it causes no worry to show appreciation for others. Economic development- in tandem with Ecologically sustainable models, shall help carry the mass towards a Greater India - today we are an India Minus the ILP states, yes we do need a visa indeed, tragic but true. The region is blessed and harbours rich Cultural Values, Natural resources, Human Capital, yet all seems an exaggeration, as the article by Tarun Vijay clearly reflects.
