A valid issue for opposition parties at centre to take up
by sampath mainampati on Sep 08, 2007 07:20 PM  Permalink

Bangladesis have already turned up to be a threat to india's integrity. In coallation governments coming up at centre, there is already a trend of small parties in coallation blackmailing the government for their wishes.Assume if after some years if a political party will comes up in india which works for interest of bangladesh. That kind of situation can become a very big threar to india's integrity. Its not already too late for us to take some action against these banglasis.I would expect the govt to follow a strict foreign policy with bangladesh similar to with pakistan.

need of the hour.....
by Ashish Kumar on Sep 08, 2007 06:51 PM  Permalink

the need of the hour is to oust congress and lets not shy from raising voice against the pseudo securalism promoted by political parties. The situation is not only grim in NE but also the missionary work which is rampant in AP and TN.

pathetic Governance
by Nitin Dutt on Sep 08, 2007 05:58 PM  Permalink

This clearly indicates that how pathetic teh governance has been since INdependence. Why are'nt such issues being raised by these god for nothing ministers in parliament and what has happened to all these commies who raise hue and cry over teh security of India. Every single parliamentarian is corrupt and I repent the day those terrorists from Pakistan did'nt suceed in their attempt on Parliament. Atleast some scum would have been blown off from teh face of India.

In a way you are correct. The people of NE are loyal to India despite being shown so much of discrimination unlike the Kashmiri muslims who take all the funds and show zero loyalty.

Secular politics
by SK on Sep 08, 2007 03:45 PM  Permalink

Any child who looks at our history will understand that many religions came here and took root because of the culture of tolerance of the local people. This has continued down the ages and the local population has been at the receiving end of everything - their religious establishments got destroyed, they were looted, they were forcibly converted. Still no blood baths happened in communal riots.

But enter the British and when they found out that the best way to hold control over the people is to pitch them against each other, things took a bloody turn. We all know what happened during their rule.

Post independence, the Congress party has carried forward the colonial legacy excellently. India's culture of tolerance was wrongly coined 'secular' and enforced. And in this supposedly free land, all sops are showered on particular communities, the latest being the stupid idea of installing minoroty personnel in minority areas.

If organizations like VHP, RSS, Shiv Sena and the BJP have gained ground, it is solely because of these idiotic secular policies. Well somebody HAS to speak for and stand for the interests of the majority people - they are humans right? They need the basic necessities and have the basic rights. There are more needy people in those communities than the minorities.

The secularists NEVER want the minorities to improve - they actually want them to remain educationally and socially backward. So they can exploit them.

I can only wish, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland is completely taken over by China. Even, if possible the whole India. I need no freedom, in the Indian way, as long as the government is doing the right thing for the people. There are sufferers in China, but none of them in the scale as India does with its apathy and in the name of democracy. India is a shame on Hindus. If any Hindu has any slightest form of affinity to their religion and their girls being lost to the so called minorities, in effect, the wombs of future Hindus are being changed to give birth to an another religion where there is no point of return, Hindus go to hell!

Dehli Fiddles
by Wajid Jafri on Sep 08, 2007 03:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I was surprised by the tone and the tenor of the article and when I saw the author,s name and his association with the organisation,, then it became clear to me what he actually means and what he actually wants. They see ghosts where none exists. Surprising during six years of Vajpayee,s rule he never got an oppertunity to go to North East and wrtite an article like this.

Guys like you are can see only through prejudiced eyes. The author is talking only about the centre's inaction. When he makes his visit to find the truths is not material - be it MMS's rule, Vajpayee's rule or Mungerilal's rule.

If you know what the author 'wants', can you share it with the rest of the readers and enlighten them?

Mr. Jafri, if u are Indian, then instead of post morteming the article with communalism, get to the fact. This is true what is written in the Article and even if an iota of it is true then our so-called secular parties should realize its high time we should curb the insurgency.
