What is the BSF paid for, why they hell do they allow infilteration. They should pull back corrupt BSF for sometime and let the Indian army man the bangladesh front. BSF is full of smugglers, they are worse than our police.

Why didn't the BJP government abolish the permit raj?

Shri Tarun Vijay,

Why didn't you make the BJP government abolish permits for Indians? I'm not sure you are presenting all sides of this story.

BJP could have done a lot more but the blame should go to Congress that ruled for over 50 out of 60 years since independence.

problems!!!
by with luv frm assam on Sep 08, 2007 03:51 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

no one can summarise the problem of NE in one page. it has got many facades. main are
1. bangladeshis
2. biharis (and other hindi heartland)
3. delhi (and indian union as a whole)
u won't find muslim student or any organisation on religious line except in assam.they are as good as the spineless indians...why a simple call of leave arunachal lead into mass leaving of people who doesn't have inner line permit? so delhi listen, if u want assam to be a part of india, stop people from migrating so much as to change the demography and foremost repel all bangladeshis, set up fedelism in true sense. or else NE will burn forever

Hi, I am an Indian and belong to Delhi.
I agree to the thoughts given by LuvFrmAssam guy and a few other fellow guys.
This has been a problem with Bihar, that wherever they find a few jobs , they flock there and then carve their whole niche. The problem is not with the Biharis, but the Bihar govt/ where there are no / less opportunity for jobs. But lets not fight with them, they are an integral part of India, our brothers, as are our fellow NE brothers.
Lets root out the bangladeshis, who if not stopped, will demand a separate state and in few years will demand sharia law / would like to merge Assam and other NE stats with Bangladesh.
Lets root out this problem and push them back to where they belong. Irrespective of the fact that some have born here, we need to make this harsh decision, as was done by Spain in the Recoinnasace era..otherwise Spain would have been Al- Spain today.
Instead of feuding among fellow indians lets start something to oust the aliens first.
fellow Indian / NE brothers should come up with constructive ideas and ways in which we can awaken our central and state governments to act proactively.

Lets Rang de Basanti

I think ...you both are on payroll of Bangladesh goverment .. How come Bihari's are chnaging teh demographic such that its goting to merge with Bangladesh ...its infact otherway around ...its counter balancing the infiltration from bangladesh .

I beleive people in Assam are the most spineless creature on this earth they had this ULFA which was started to oppose bangladeshi's infiltration ..but now they operate from Bangladesh . Let Ass--messe people realize what future they want ..be part of a more or less freedom country or get merged in Bangladesh and lose everything what ever you are proud of now...but second case is very unlikely as India wont mind having a burning state than surrender it to another country ..!
So the biggest problem in NE is the
People of NE not anybody else.

yeah biharis are with spine. just tell a name of a hindu king after the muslim invaded india. if biharis had spine they would not have ruled by moslem for hundred of years.
how biharis are changing the demography.biharis are 20-25 lakhs in NE. it is equal to or larger than most of the NE states population (see population of each state). counter balancing of bangladeshis with biharis is not a solution. we want all bangladeshis to be kicked out and limited migration by these no good biharis

is democrazy right for india?
by Pradip Parekh on Sep 08, 2007 03:34 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

a democratic india will not survive. vast majority of people think democracy is an utopia ensured by mere elections. that simply is not so. democracy is a participatory system which demands way more than voting for somebody every so often. democracy is resposnibility of the people on a ggreater scale than that of its govt. the role of media as 4th estate is no longer useful as media is just another business, not intended to inform so much as to make money.

democracy is for the people who value freedom to the point that they can be eternally vigilant. which in turn requires a lot resources which india simply doe snot have. in india people must remain busy trying to make ends meet, hardly a situation conducive to vigilance.

by contrast india, essentially a hindu pagan/kafir country has highly entrenched enemies who have the most fundmantal problem with idol worshipping. xtians believe idol worshippers are immoral people who belong in hell. however, the spiritual soundness of idolators presents a huge challenge to them because xtianity is pretty skimpy on spirituality and hence it is impossible for xtianity to retain its flock should they get educated about hinud spirituality. and hence hinduism presents a huge challnege to xtain society. mohamadans have even a bigger problem with idolatory. their cruelness is well known, and there are many mommedan countries that outright discriminate against hindus.

a hindu democratic india is ripe for picking by india's enemy when the ene

ISI sponsored ULFA and others are killing innocent Biharis in Assam. WHY?
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Sep 08, 2007 03:06 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Because Biharis in Assam work hard. ISI sponsored ULFA is killing them, so they flee and Bangladeshi Muslims can fill in that gap.

This is the bare truth.

Lalu Prasad, meassiah of Bihar, is mum. Because if he opens his mouth, he will loose Muslim Vote.

it is not. biharis are causing the same problem as the bandladeshis. trying to take resources. we have no problem with biharis if they are concentrated in towns doing the secondary or tertiary jobs..but not the primary i.e. owning farm lands

The new Muslim Party in Assam even demanded Special Area to be demarkated for Muslims
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Sep 08, 2007 03:01 AM  Permalink

The new Muslim Party in Assam even demanded Special Area to be demarkated for Muslims.

There were few hulla gullah, but unless strong nationalist forces like BJP comes to absolute power in Assam within next 5 years, we will see COngress dividng Assam based on religious lines.

Slowly Hindus will be thrown out from lower assam, Cachar as we saw in Kashmir. And rest of assam will be be again be divided after 50-100 years.

Islam grows slowly but steadily.

Hindus will take up arms soon, if not already
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Sep 08, 2007 02:45 AM  Permalink

Psuedo, votebank politics is pushing the country to this. Hindus in parts of Jammu which are close to Kashmir are taking up arms to defend them. Its happening in Assam.

psuedos will be wiped out, and solely responsible for the coming mess. Muslims will pay bigger price as everywhere they will be ghettoized.
