All,

Please use this thread for paying respect for the fallen hero. Read the article, bow your head and exit.

There are many other threads in this forum that can be used for conversations and debates on politics and religion. Thanks.

Yeah....But it is our motherland....it is the motherland of both Hindus and Muslims and the others alike. We cannot divide it among us, mothers cannot be divided. Some idiot Hindus and Muslims and other sections of the society do not realize this.
I know Indian Muslims are great...sometimes they need to prove more because we have enemies in our neighboring states who are muslims. Many Indians confuse Indian muslims with them.
But I believe Indian Muslims also have some responsibilities to spread awareness in the Indian Muslim society, that India comes first than religion and the same goes for Hindus who have no right to say Indian Muslims are bad. They have proved that they are the greatest muslims in the entire world.
But some are alienated by thoughts and beliefs that spread bad word in the society.

Lastly, we are brothers and sisters of the same mother. If we donot stand together to protect our motherland,we will lose everything we have.

But your holy book says the revers of it.Dont mix and love non-muslims.convert them or kill them. do violence and loot with those who dont believe in Allah and Muhammad. Koran is the only book on truth and contain the whole knoweldge of the world. Fight with non-muslims in whatever way you can. All koranic muslims ultimately turn into a terrorist. Yes if he hasnt read the koran he is an innocent and decent person. And India- Wins- All, you are one of those.

What more rights do u want? You are entitled to same rights as any other Indian.

Do u want people to give you jobs with just a madarssa education? Do you know how appalingly low are your literacy figures? Those Muslims who are well educated get ahead in life as others,. Remember Abdul Kalam and scores of others?

Most of Muslims have to change their mentality and adopt western education in order to move ahead.

As far as Pakistan is concerned you may have no connection with them but Indian Muslims literacy and Pakistani Literacy rates are similar. That explains everything..

What weapons do VHP/RSS/BJP have?
The real terrorists are those who kill innocents with their weapons such as AK 47s. Remember Akshardham, Maoist killings?

There is not a single instance when hindus killed innocent muslims. Gujarat was the only case where it was shown that it is easy to give them taste of their own medicine, but later again there was a refrain.

Dear Patriotic,

You must be a blind Muslim not to know that intrinsically there are problems in the Muslim community. I am a minority citizen in this predominantly Hindu, yet politically secular country. I live in an urban milieu, and I have Muslim friends. But my situation is not that of India. Also take solace from the fact that what gets written here is also not the real India. There are a few jokers, sitting in the comfort of their US homes writing utter crap about a country, which they can only write about and scheme about, but the spirit of which, neither them, nor their next seven generations will be able to understand or fathom. They are a minority, unfortunately a vocal one. Remember Uma Bharti, that sums them up.

However, as I said earlier, do not be blind to the failings in your community. The fact that a Muslim majority nation does not have secular credential, save Turkey, is a pointer to the deeper malaise that pervades a religious group. And Turkey is fighting grimly to protect that ethos. In any other religion, I, as an individual, have the right to convert to another religion, if my personal belief is so. But the Muslim religion does not allow that. Presumably, you may argue that your religion is the most whatever, but the law of nature decrees that what you attempt to keep by force, will be swept away by a higher force. I only write these small snippets (since Rediff does not allow space for a full delineation) for you to introspect. Let thoughts flow!
