K'swamy: will convince dad about power-transfer
by Bodh Ramdeo on Sep 07, 2007 11:45 PM  Permalink

What did they call his father, the good ole Deve Gowda...oh yes, the 'barefoot PM', with cow-dung on his toes. Funny how he didn't ned hos fathers 'permission' to switch his party over to the BJP's side, eyt now that he's to turn over the PMship, he must get his dad's blessing and permission. Sounds more than a bit fishy - more like dung.

Ditching Tactics and Another Drama
by Lalatendu Deo on Sep 07, 2007 10:59 PM  Permalink

Please, do not continue the Drama any further. We have seen the Drama while you had made your son the CM by ditching Congress. Now you are not interested in Bjp taking over.

A precursor to Ditching. Is not it? It does not suits a former PM.

Transfer of power from JD[S] to BJP
by Anil Tandale on Sep 07, 2007 08:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is distressing that all political parties who [for their own benefit] ally with BJP, have developed a habit of taking it for granted. Mayavati allied with BJP and was first to take over rotational chief ministership. When the turn of BJP came to take over CM post, she played tantrums, and cheated. Similarly, Mamata and Jayalalithaaa behaved. Mamata took help of BJP to protest at Singur, but declined to vote for Shekhavat. Now it is Deve Gouda. These honorable persons do not get ashamed to take help from communal BJP, but tend to show secularism by deceiving BJP. In fact BJP should learn to assert itself like CPM. All the parties who have alliance with CPM in West Bengal, toe the line of CPM, including support to Chinese aggression. Similarly, BJP should tell the small parties that if they wish to align with BJP, they must accept three point program of removal of Article 370, Unifrom civil code and Ram Temple, when these demands are not anti-national. It is better not to accept power by diluting core identity.
