My friend can you change your brothers and parents ? Brothers sometimes fight too. Why are you conveniently forgetting India and China NEVER fought war in their 5000 year history.

Friendship with US is welcome but not a deal that compromises our sovereignty.
As per Hyde act
(B) the country has a functioning and uninterrupted democratic system of government, has a foreign policy that is congruent to that of the United States, and is working with the United States in key foreign policy initiatives related to non-proliferation;

(C) such cooperation induces the country to implement the highest possible protections against the proliferation of technology related to weapons of mass destruction programs and the means to deliver them, and to refrain from actions that would further the development of its nuclear weapons program; and

(D) such cooperation will induce the country to give greater political and material support to the achievement of United States global and regional nonproliferation objectives, especially with respect to dissuading, isolating, and, if necessary, sanctioning and containing states that sponsor terrorism and terrorist groups, that are seeking to acquire a nuclear weapons capability or other weapons of mass destruction capability and the means to deliver such weapons;

Send these Left Leaders to USA on a trip...
by on Sep 06, 2007 09:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Let us spend tax payer money to send the whole bunch of Left leaders on an all expense paid trip to USA or to any of the advanced western countries and make them visit their super markets, look at their highways and simply understand the quality of life there and compare that with what these folks have given to people in West Bengal for the last 30 years. Atleast then they will realise what market economy and competetion brings to a country and they will hopefully stop opposing blindly everything and anything related to USA. I hear that Gorbochev introduced reforms after one such trip to USA. When NAM is dead, it is laughable that Bardhan and Bose quote that dead movement to oppose USA..

Commies are right for a change. Lets invite Chinese and Pakistanis to visit India free of cost and treat them with our traditional hospitality. that will melt their hearts and create an unbreakable bond.

It is said you cannot change your neighbours. can you change your brothers and parents ?

Oh by the way... Bose claimed India will create "enemies in its neighborhood.", meant that China will not like it. It seems that the commies are on the payroll of the Chinese!!

The PM should avoid friendship with the likes of Bardhan. George Bush is any day preferable to our Comrades. And Mr.Bardhan, what about your fellow Comrades in China, whose hands are 'red with the blood' of their own countrymen? Remember Tiananmen Square?
