Wonderful idea! Then the name should be changed ! I suggest "Theosophic communists of India" or communist (theosophic) of India , in short CTI instead of CPM or CPI will be nice!
By all means -- the communists who change colour for any thing that GIVES THEM OPPORTUNITY TO RULE ! Principleless and barbaric in nature , they evolved from DARWIN'S principle of evolution which has been proved WRONG! They treat mass killers like Stalin, Lnin and Mao as their GURUS! By manipulations they have got a strength to support CONGRESS and they talk harmful matters so boldly! BEWARE OF A COMMUNIST!

Dear Sir, This is a democratic country. Do not use abusive language . This is a bad taste This time I am going to vote for left parties. The reason is as follows. You may not agree with Karat, but that doesn't give netfolks the right to savage the Left in the rather uncivilized manner in which they are doing now. Look what has happened to the countries that accepted American hegemony unquestioningly. Look what is happening to Pakistan. The country was used by the US in every possible way. Now, the USA is the only Krishna and we are all expected to dance to its %u201Cbansuri%u2019, the way the blue-turbaned Manmohan Singh doing. Any man who have self respect and rational view should agree with me
I am not justifying Communist China's Action I am just saying that Communists do not allow dissent in countries they are in power. Yet in our Country the COMMUNISTS are completely free to play havoc with the democratic process and impede any progress it brings.
They want it to fail. So that they can come to power and suppress and murder people and implement their objectives. The sole AIM of the CPI(M) and CPI in INDIA is to secure POWER at ANY cost. Even complete betrayal of the Nation to the Arch enemy is acceptable to them.

I work in a Singapore firm and there are quite a few Chinese from Mainland China here. They said that if any one behaved like the LEFT in India in their country. Not only would the politicians be shot. Their family members would also be shot. No one would even bother to raise an issue about them after they were summarily shot.

Indians deserve the filth they live in - they keep voting for filth like Cong and CPI-CPM et al - as the saying goes, 'people deserve the govt they have', seeing as they're the ones who voted them to power.

Very true. A vast majority of Indians vote on the basis of handouts given to them by the parties instead of voting for progress and growth. We have headlines saying 'UPA woos Muslims' and it is accepted as normal. What a shame!

quite true. however, we have convinced ourselves that the best of india is yet to come. which would mean the present crop of politicians just won't do. whatever happened to that party of iit guys.
This is nothing but an autocratic behaviour of the left.. The leftists are the real fascists, who dont have any of the people's principles like democracy, freedom of speech etc.
Now they say, JPC is not acceptable to them.. No reason given.. But, they would oppose it..

1) Though, I am a staunch admirer of Indian National Congress for decades now on account of its true commitment to its rich policies purely based upon healthy philosophy of people oriented programmes on its agenda, I am terribly disappointed at its present anti %u2013 people tendencies! 2)Yes, power crisis is a pressing issue! Though nuke energy is one of the conventional forms, we should not be carried away by certain emotional fascinations over the said modern civilization as seen by the west! Only present illusions over such modern fascinations as sponsored by the west are responsible for the present steady downward trend in our nation! West may be delighted over filling up of funds by the said nonsensical %u201Cgrowth%u201D! Is a nation filled with foreign reserves but in great chaos every where with steady rise in violence, crime, heavy corruption, fresh scams of crores daily massive starvation deaths in rural areas, costly and over delayed judicial system, denial of the basic needs to a large majority of the people, terrorist activities and totally failed administration a %u201Cgrown%u201D nation? What a fallacy in such western thoughts imported by so called modern leaders!
3) Let us start having confidence over our own wisdom and intelligence as we are none less to the western wisdom! The west, though have resources, are totally bankrupt in intellectual world! They bring eminent luminaries from outside U.S. by paying heavily , and who are responsible for their progress! Late Dr. Einstein and latest Dr. Von Braun who was the designer of first successful space rockets, Jupiter %u2013 C and Vanguard of U.S. were Germans. Japanese, Chinese and Indians etc., are primary contributors in U.S. to day for their advancement in various fields! Let us go as per our own priorities as per the demands of our population! Nuke energy is highly risky as seen in the case of the bombings of U.S. in Nagasaki and Hiroshima cannot be forgotten still due to heavy losses of people and the after math ill effects!
