Chandra I totally agree with u. But then if BJP tries anything these monkies of UPA esp Sonia and others are going to scream out. They wont do anything nor will they let BJP do it. Its been the history of congress that it holds 1 particular community always. Indira with sardarjis, Rajeev with tamils and now this foreigner Hizra faced with Muslims. Little do they realise that Muslim prime states like Bihar and UP have thrown these idiots long ago outta power and reduced them to a lesser than regional party still they wont understand. india will be doomed with such idiotic politicians who encourage casteeism based politics and accuse BJP of being communal.

The article is clear and right but the main problem with Hindus we are cowards and dont believe in self esteem. Within our people we speak lot about secularism which is a stupid word and we say that we unite by diversity. The unity by diversity is only for language and we should always remember there is "no pure & perfect man"; but only man with perfect & Good intentions. If we fail to do the Union civil code then it will be not too many yeras for the stinking Muslims who will become majority and Hindus will become minority

BJP was in power??? Do they act for uniform civil code or even Ram Temple? Where was Advani s voice for Ram Temple for those 5 years?
probably you are trying to fuel a Hindu - Sikh divide in which you will fail miserably. Let me remind you that it was not a communal riot in 1984 but a politically driven riot organised by congress. Prob you also forgot that sikhs were born out of the holy wars that hindus had against muslim invadors. Sikhs were born to protect hinduism and all hindus are proud of sikhs. Its not a religion which stands against hinduism, its a faith which complements hinduism.

A similar pattern of delays to justice and impunity for perpetrators exists for other large scale incidents of human rights violations in the country. During the period of militancy in the state of Punjab - mid 1980s to mid 1990s - Amnesty International received reports of torture, deaths in custody, extrajudicial executions and %u2018disappearances%u2019. While there have been a small number of prosecutions and despite the recommendations of specially established judicial inquiries and commissions, impunity has prevailed in many cases. Amnesty International calls for an end to impunity in these cases.
Amnesty International is also concerned about the ongoing impunity for perpetrators of human rights abuses against Muslims in Gujarat in 2002. Over 2,000 people, mostly Muslims, were killed in targeted violence, including hundreds of girls and women who were publicly stripped, raped and gang raped, following a fire in a train in which 59 Hindu activists had died. While some cases are being tried outside Gujarat State and the Supreme Court has directed that over 2,000 previously closed complaints be reviewed with a view to possible remedies, few perpetrators have been held to account. Amnesty International urges the Government of India and particularly the Government of Gujarat to take urgent steps to end impunity in the state.

you forgot to include singapore(>14% of population is muslim), but mind you places like malaysia and singapore had blood filled separation and nearly 45 year ago malay killed chinese, chinese killed hindus etc. so point still remain the same. the whole human community is to blamed for violence, no other animals kills any other animal just for joy!

first of all, the framing of this question itself shows communal bias, Indonasia, Turkey, Egypt and Morocco experience much lesser violence than Gujarat. And before clubbing every person with a Hindu name to together into one box ask them if they chose to be associated with your brand of Hinduism.
