A person who is about to read a book knows that it has been written by an author for a specific reason. It would not even occur to him that this book might have come into being by chance.
In the same manner, a person who sees a sculpture has no doubt whatsoever that it was made by a sculptor.
And not just works of art: even a few bricks resting on top of one another make one think that they must have been brought to rest just so by someone within a certain plan. Therefore, everywhere where there is an order %u2013 either small or big, a founder and protector of this order must also exist.
If someone says the bricks and cement came together and built your house, would u belive him. The probability of cell being formed is less than this and u believe that...
The claim of the theory of evolution, the unique method of denying the existence of Allah, is no different than this.
How is it possible to think that the balance in the world came about by coincidence when the extraordinary harmony of nature is observable even with the naked eye? It is the most unreasonable claim to say that the universe, each point of which suggests the existence of its Creator, has come into being on its own.
Therefore, there should be an owner of the balance visible everywhere from our body to the farthest corners of the inconceivably vast universe. So, who is this Creator that ordained everything so subtly and created all?

Dear friend, then why the creator did not construct the mass transit systems, roads and bridges, aeroplanes, residential townships, steel plants, power plants, etc? Was his power exhausted by the time he created Adam and Eve?
All the progress made in this world are through the tireless efforts of scientists and technocrats. The creator has nothing to do with that.
Pl be open to the achievements of science and technology. Kindly go thru The Necessity of Atheism by Dr. D.M. Brooks available freely at www.gutenberg.org You can get other useful articles from the internet.
By the way, I am ready to accept any punishment from The Supreme Creator if I have offended him. Does he need small people like us to defend him?

Yes do accept science and technology have contributed a lot. About reading Brooks, definitly it will be enriching.
The Creator does not need his creation to worship or defend him. It is the created which need to follow the manual of the creator and reach the creator if any repairs are required.

JGN, no it is not taken from other scriptures. We as Muslims believe in prophets Moses(pbuh), Jesus(pbuh) and all others mentioned in Quran.
Islam is not new, it from the days of Adam(pbuh). Prophets have been sent time to time. Muhammed (pbuh) was the last prophet and Quran was the Book. The current version bible is not he same given to Jesus(pbuh) and Torah is not the same given to Moses(pbuh). You visit any bookshop you find 100 different version these.
However look for Quran, it is the same as was revealed 1400 years ago. It is the promise of Allah the Quran will remain intact and it is. It is a challenge of Allah to mankind to produce another book like Quran or a chapter, 1400 years have passed by and mankind is unable to produce a single chapter.

To JGN, You might be knowing and it is true that you are at the crossroads. Hence take your own time for decision. Don't jump onto conclusions. Advice: Whatever you read about islam other than Koran-in-Arabic, you have to be make sure that it is authentic and accepted by mainstream muslims.
Friends, I would like to share my visit to NJ/NY 2 weeks back.
I visted a place called OAK TREE in NJ. Same street where they had the Independence day celebration.
It was just Pathetic. The place is now totally "DESI". You hardly see whites there. It is so Dirtly. People throwing thrash on the road. Bottle, plastic bags, spoiled food thrown on the foot path. I also saw many stray CATS.
The car drivers (ALL DESIS) had not sense and absolutely no patience. They use the HORN just like in India shouting at Pedestrians and other drivers.
People work illegally at Indian stores where they are paid cash and hence do NOT pay taxes. People buy cash without receipts, hence evading sales TAX. The place is neglected when compared to other parts of the US. It is a "GETTO".
It is Mostly inhabited by Gujjus. You could see the thrash left behind from the Independence Day parade (Pamplets and Small Flags).
US is a great country because people respect the LAW of the Land. They respect individual rights. These immigrants in OAK TREE have created a "MINI-INDIA". You can see people spitting on the roads.
It gives a very bad name to the overall Indian Community in the US.
Why do we do this ? Why don't we think twice before breaking the LAW ? Why don't we think twice before cheating the system ? Why do we not respect individual rights ? Why can't we keep our surrounding clean ?

Here people are allowed by LAW to burn their FLAG...That is the 1st ammendment to the constitution...Freedom of speech...
People respect their Country...There is less sysmbolism and more substance. People do not fight over National Songs, because there is NONE. There is just ONE national ANTHEM.
We are just interested in SYMBOLIC PATROTISM. We are patriots when there is a India Vs Pakistan Match. Rest of the time, our patriotism goes to sleep.

why don't you read before you write...
Here is some info on the Indian Flag...Please read...
- Bhagwa or the saffron colour denotes renunciation of disinterestedness. Our leaders must be indifferent to material gains and dedicate themselves to their work.
- The white in the centre is light, the path of truth to guide our conduct.
-The green shows our relation to (the) soil, our relation to the plant life here, on which all other life depends.
- The "Ashoka Chakra" in the centre of the white is the wheel of the law of dharma. Truth or satya, dharma or virtue ought to be the controlling principle of those who work under this flag. Again, the wheel denotes motion. There is death in stagnation. There is life in movement. India should no more resist change, it must move and go forward. The wheel represents the dynamism of a peaceful change.

As far as the EMBLEM is concerned, It symbolizes power, courage and confidence
It has four "Indian Lions", resting on a circular abacus. The emblem symbolizes power, courage and confidence. The abacus is girded by four smaller animals - guardians of the four directions: the Lion of the north, the Elephant of the east, the Horse of the south and Bull of the west. The abacus rests on a nelumbo nucifera in full bloom, exemplifying the fountainhead of life.

Secondly, The troublemakers are not applying for visa, they are crossing the Borders ILLEGALLY.
Why are we not pushing for tighter border enforcement, both with Pakistan and Bangladesh ? Why are we not using the latest technology to secure our borders ?
Lets put our money where our mouth is. Fact of the matter is, we hear rhetoric from people, no action to curn this ILLEGAL intrusion into our country.
Why is our government putting resources to stop these ILLEGAL crossing ?

This is highly un-professional...Why would you discuss matters with the Media during an Investigation.
The Joint Commissioner is a bigger Idiot. He says "Though we have not been able to confirm Bilal's role in the IISc attack, we have not completely ruled it out,"
What is this suppose to mean ? What value is it adding to the investigation. But people will surely make up their minds based on that one statement.
I wonder why the police talks to the Media before the investigation is over ? Is is Money, or Publicity or vetting public opinion...
Nearly two years have passed-by after the dastardly attack and we still are groping in the dark and pinpointing fingers based on conjectures and premises. Intelligence or the lack of it?
Similar thing happened even after the attack in Hyderabad. Hardly, less than 24 hours even before the forensic experts confirmed the explosive material, the CM is pointing fingers at Pak and Bangladesh. Surely blame it on them by all means but at least conduct the investigations fast and then point fingers at any lest it shows lack of credibility. Even in one odd instance if it happens as the handiwork of India's home bred Naxalites, all future allegations, however, true they might be suffer from serious credibility if we point fingers so quickly. It appears at times that if the CM was so sure about the perpetrators in less than 10 hours of the crime how he could not have stopped them?
ISLAMABAD: A memorial for freedom fighter Bhagat Singh will be built in Pakistan's Punjab province, the government said.
Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool made the announcement at a seminar in Lahore held to celebrate Singh's 100th birth anniversary on Saturday.
"Singh was the first martyr of the subcontinent and his example was followed by many youths of the time," the governor was quoted as saying by the Daily Times.
The governor said Pakistan had paid attention to the protection and care of gurdwaras, adding that a road from Wagah border to Nankana Sahib would be completed before the Nankana Festival.
He pointed that the government had renovated the Katas Temple. "I welcome the Indian guests and invite them to live here and observe the government's arrangements for the accommodation of Sikh pilgrims in the country."
Makhan Singh Kohar, an Indian delegate, said that though Singh was a Sikh, he had not represented any religion when he took part in the freedomm struggle.
Bhagat Singh was born at Faisalabad's Banga village in 1907 and was hanged at Lahore Jail in 1931 at the age of 24.
A participant Muhammad Iqbal Virk claimed that he owned the property earlier owned by Bhagat Singh. He said that he wanted to display his collection of Singh's possessions at the Lahore Museum
Astronomers estimate that the earth, like other solar planets, was formed over four billion years ago by the agglomeration of particles of matter in space. Later when the temperature and atmospheric conditions of the earth were suitable, life originated on it as a result of chemical activity. Molecules of livable organic matter were formed from methane, ammonia and water of the primitive atmosphere of the earth under the influence of solar and volcanic energies. (Simulating the conditions of the primitive atmosphere of the earth, the Nobel Laureate Dr. Har Gobind Khorana and Dr. Cyril Ponnamperuma had successfully produced molecules in their laboratories). These molecules in due course developed the property of replicating and producing energy through slow oxidation called respiration. It is this type of energy produced by respiring organic matter that we call life. Livable matter becomes a living body when it respires and produces vital energy (life).
The molecules of organic matter formed on the primitive earth produced unicellular organisms in due course, which as a result of millions of years of evolution gave rise to the present flora and fauna.
Harlow Shapply, the famous astrophysicist, says there can be millions of planets in space where life is possible. Some of these planets there may organisms much more intelligent and much more evolved than man.

The so-called holy books are creations of surrealistic visionaries and are no mor serious than Aesop's Fables, gulliver's Travels, Mulla Naziruddin Stories, etc.
The Allah described in The Koran seems to be more vengeful than a mafia don! He punishes his own creations just for not believing also!
I do respect the sentiments of others and as such not quoting the more hateful passages. I think you are well aware of the same.

God does not discriminate any humans in this world based on belief. All humans will get what is already ordained by god irrespective of one's belief. However, for sure there will be discrimination after death based on ones belief and deeds. There is only heaven for all believers and one hell for all disbelievers. However there are stages within heaven and hell. The work of prophets is to guide humans towards true-god and it is limited to this world. There will be no further guidance for souls. There will be either punishment or reward for souls. T

Madan Kumar, many people cannot digest scientific truth. They are still living with the primitive mindset.
This is the root cause of all trouble. Our anti terrorism strategy is not at all effective, i there is one in the first place. Our political leadership does not have the guts to take hard decisions like take out these terrorists through aerial bombs in neighbouring countries who are harbouring these killers. Unless our anti terrorism policy changes and the way we respond, we would always be a soft target.
