Hi

Its a high time for our 'young' red leaders to go to hell.

At least the rest of the India can go to heaven.

Let the parliament arrange for a paid vacation for our red friends to thier mayaka (China/ Cunba) where they can put forward thier ideas.

Save the country.

China is India's biggest enemy now. George Fernandes said it once , but will now probably deny it. Bardhan is worried about "complete subjugation of India's foreign policy to imperialist powers.". What about below link where a Russian Nuclear plant at Podolsk has America paying for its security. Has Russia subjugated itself to America. Wah re Wah only hina is not subjugated to USA its biggest trading partner. http://www.macon.com/world//story/124006.htmlAre you delusional Mr Bardhan

I cant blame people for calling you Indian communists Chinese agents. After all the Chinese knew of the likelihood of the Manmohan Singh Govt collapse before we even heard of it as per Kuldip Nayar.

N DEAL
by Vijay Singh on Sep 01, 2007 06:32 PM  Permalink

The Left should tell us why China signed a similar deal. Also they should specify how the country would be subjugated by US if the deal is signed. If by signing such a deal we improve our capacity for generating electricity and can upgrade our knowledge what is the harm. I feel left is not interested in an informed debate. They only wish to whip up propoganda for their narrow interests. This deal is a great step forward and we should go on to enhance our capabilities so that we can be at par with the best. Isolation is of no use. It does not increase our scientific capabilities nor does it make economic sense.

All these Communist leaders r sold to Chinese and r talking their words. Dump all these people in Bay Of Bengal.

DUMPING SHOULD BE THE VOTERS AND NOT THEIR REPRESENTATIVES. THESE FOOLS KEPT ON ELECTING THE SAME OLD GOOSE WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT IS HIS CONTRIBUTION AND CAPACITY DURING THE PAST TENURE. SEE THE BENGALIS LIVING IN TWENTYFOUR PARAGANAS AND OTHER PLACES. IT IS PATHETIC. MOST OF THE POLITICIANS WOULD VISIT THESE PLACES ONLY BEFORE ELECTIONS OR DURING COMMOTION. THEY HAVE TAKEN FULL ADVANTAGE OF THEIR IGNORANCE AND ILLETERACY. 65 PER CENT OF INDIAN POPULATION DOES NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT IS NUCLEAR ENERGY. LET ALONE 123 AGREEMENT WITH US. I AM SURE, EVEN THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT U.S. MEANS. IT IS WRONG THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GROW BUT THEY DONT WANT TO GROW AND REMAIN STAGNENT AS LONG AS THEY GET MOST OF THEIR REQUIREMENT FREELY FROM THE GOVERNMENT.

Atleast we won't have to bow our head in front of US president! See MM Singh's video on Google video and then think if our PM has to surrender his dignity and self pride what will happen to the common man?

Correction :India has a superpower neighbour like china that is hostile to it.

That is why aligning with US is important for India. Distance has no relevance here.

by Halali Dallaullah on Sep 01, 2007 06:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indians have to accept REALITY - we have a superpower NEIGHBOUR. Makes 100 percent sense to live and grow with it rather than a country located 15000 kilometers away.

AT THE END OF THE DAY it is neighbour that is more important. You dont care someone living 500 km away, do you. Being pig headed and ignoring reality of CHINA will not get us anywhere.

Gates of heaven won't open by inking N-deal
by Prem Mohan on Sep 01, 2007 06:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have several questions for Mr Bardhan:

1. Are we such a weak nation that the nuclear deal will make us subservient to the U.S. for all times to come?

2. What are his views about our long subservience to the Soviet Union in the name of non-alignment? The Soviet Union was a tyrannical and despotic colonial power, yet we had no problem in being its stooge. In the bargain, our people suffered poverty and deprivation.

In blaming the media, Mr Bardhan is simply talking through his hat. In this case, the media has thorougly represented the views of the midddle classes.

And for Mr Bardhan's edification, the CPI is no longer a party of the working class. It is a bourgeouis, middle-class pedantic set-up.

Prem

This has already happened. Else how do you explain our inability to give a job unless a young guy knows English. How do u explain the vote against Iran.

Since we were weak in front of Soviet we should be weak in front of US. Tell u frankly I dont get this logic. When will we learn to be strong on our own?
