Mr Bardhan, you are the only literate and knowledgable person in india that are having a conceptual knowledge. Now you are seeing hell or heaven, this is due to your old age. Man! you cant make indians always foolish.
Dear Bardhan Your problem is that the gates of Peking will close for you.You dont know CHINI GUSSA.You will be out of your job.your allowance cut off if the deal goes thru. JAI MAO
All those who love age-old doctrines, age-old theories, age-old beliefs & age-old leaders always live in age-old history.
Look at the leaders of Communist party. All old hags with old thinking.
Look at the leadership of the extreme right, the BJP. All old hags with age-old philosophies. They delivered an old Vajpayee for Prime Ministerial post. Next in line is old Advani.
Look at the Third Force. They gave us old Morarji, old Charan Singh & old Gujaral.
Look at Congress without Gandhi family. Whenever they had to rule Delhi in absence of Gandhi family, they chose some old hags like Narasimha Rao or Manmohan Singh.
Old people have only past & no future. If those old guys are infected by old philosophies, then they can never look into future.
Only the Gandhi family has provided young leadership. Young Jawaharlal gave a new dimension to freedom struggle. Young Indira gave independent india a mighty muscle & strong identity. Young Rajeev gave India the dream of 21st century. It is Rajeev's vision that has transformed India, be it IT, be it opening up of economy.
Once Rajeev made a historically incorrect statement in Parliament. Vajpayee objected & advised Rajjev to read history. Rajeev said he would prefer making history!
Parties donot matter, youthfulness of leadership & thinking does.
We should shunt the oldies & turn to young leadership with fresh thoughts irrespective of any party.

I agree with some of your statements...But I am not a Big fan of the Gandhi Family.
It is sad that after 60 years of independence and with a Billion PLUS population, we still have a hand ful of people to choose from with respect to our political leadership.
We need leader with Visions, Leaders that are truely committed to PULIC SERVICE, Leaders that are GREAT Team players and Motivators, Leaders that are educated and understand economics (Not 2 2 = 4, that is not sufficient) Leaders that can see beyond religion, race, color etc Leaders that believe in individual freedom Leaders that respect Life Leaders that can speak GOOD ENGLISH (Rules out LALU) Leaders who are examples in their personal Lives Leaders who have a proven track record of development and success
To you point of OLD people in Politics...The reason is WE YOUNG people do NOT go and vote !!!

Well said. We need younger prime ministers and leaders. But need not be from Gandhi family. Unfortunately all parties keep people below 45 in the youth branches. After that it takes about 20 years for the guy to rise up in delhi being able to become merely a minister.
What is the solution? restrict age of elected politicians upto 55. Can it be done? Tricky issues...
Its fault of congress to make government with the support of LEFT. Who asked them to have support of such jokers. They try to act wise person in media by uttering smart words but in reality they are fools i.e. sitaram yechuri and this Bardhan. Congress will do anything for power and money.
Is Mr.Bardhan ualified enough to judge what is good and what is bad of nuclear deal? Is he educated enough or an elected representative of people? Just curious, for I ave no idea on the person in news.
