You are right, it is history that whenever Pakistan was ruled by a Military man we never had a war. Because "Chuha" kabhi bhi "Sher" se panga nahi le sakta. But polititians are thinking that their military is "Sher" and they try to take panga from us and always gets defeated

This marriage of convenience(mush-ben) is "THE BEST".Both will try to outsmart each other to prove that who is greater pro-US with their necks in Uncle Sam's hands.

This is sure kiss of death to Mush BB alliance!
by arun singh on Sep 01, 2007 03:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

US, UK support is kiss of death to Mush BB alliance. World, be ready to see another upsurge of fundamentalists in Pakistan in the shape of Nawaz, Imran and MMA alliance. The alliance is sure to come to power in soon to be general elections, unless US, UK and Mush are able to manage it. It is a Catch 22 for America.

Arun, you are right up to a great extent. But you know fully well that democratically elected leaders do not mean and matter in that society. It is pro-US corrupt military and political leaders who run the show.

Bhutto-Musharraf deal gets thumbs up from UK, US
by ISFANDIAR HOSAINPUR on Sep 01, 2007 03:06 PM  Permalink

BENAZIR AND NAWAZ BOTH WANT LUXURY LIFE WITH PUBLIC MONEY, THEY SHOULD HAVE FACED TRIAL AND SPENT LAWLESS JAIL. THIS IS THE TRUE SPIRIT OF LEADERS. LEARN FROM SUIKUI, LEARN FROM NELSON MONDELA, LEARN FROM GANDHI AND NEHRU
BUT THESE KACHAR PAKISTANI'S BELEIVE DEALS. THERE IS NO LAW WHO GOVERNS THE LAND. DEALS OF THE CITIZENS CAN BE NEGOTIATED OR FORWARDED THROGH OTHER GOVERNMENTS. WEATHER US, SAUDI OR UK. THE COUNTRY CAN NOT STAND AT OWN FEET. THIS IS THE FATE OF PROUDY MUSLIMS. PROUDY ISLAMIC NATIONS. HERE DEMOCRACY IS NOT GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE. DEMOCRACY MEANS ONLY THE SO CALLED POLITICAL LEADERS AND TIME TO TIME REFRENDOMS. THE DESERVE THIS. WITH THIS VIRTUE THEY ARE ASKING US TO GIVE KASHMIRE. PAKISTAN IS ONLY LAWLESS LAND NOW THE WORLD KNOWS ABOUT IT, DEALS HA HA HA

Chandaal Chaukadi of Bush , Blair , Musharaff and Benazir are doing something fishy !!!

Whatevre be the negative aspects of musharaff, he is the best bet for not only pakistan but also india. He is the one who can take decisions & can prevent fundamentalists taking over.If uniform goes ,it would be difficult for him & ie the reason he wants to be in uniform.Even if democracy comes to pakistan, it would be short lived. BESIDES NO DEMOCRATIC PM can take a stand to allow some space for kashmir problem to settle. The so called elected people will be more anti india than musharaff just for their survival.Military & isi in particular will dictate terms to any PM elected.Democracy in pakistan can only be on paper.Gen. has done much better than anybody else so far what ever be his past mistakes as army chief. His mistake of sacking the chief jutice was his major mistake but for which he would have been in a stronger position. STII I VOTE FOR HIM AS HE IS THE BEST BET BOTH FOR INDIA & PAKISTAN

Your assessment is fairly right. Musharaff has outgrown his limitations in outlook and taken Pakistan forward in many fronts. Musharaff, bereft of his auatonomy and authority as chief of Army staff, will be a vegetable or show-piece being seen kicked around by extremely cunning lady Bhutto. Musharaff is good for Pakistan and all countries living in the modern world order.

shame on pakistan
by suresh on Sep 01, 2007 02:37 PM  Permalink

In his memoire, in the line of fire, parvez musharaff has accussed both butto and shariff for all bad that happened in pakistan. Infact he has stopped short of eloborating the golden era pakistan is going through under his regime minus butto and shariff. everyone knows politicians are opportunists and they are bound to swing the way the wind blows. However for for an army chief to cut a deal with down trodden politicians is appaling. The political state of affairs in pakistan is so deplorable, musharaff, butto and shariff needs the best wishes from USA and UK. USA used pakistan to invade afghanistan and UK in saddam hussains words has been a dog which takes instructions from his master, in this case USA. How can a a countries internal affairs be open to discussion for opportunistic foreign forces??at the end of the day whether it is politicians, chief justices or army chiefs..they all put the prople of pakistan in a poor light. It is high time the average citizen of this nation wake up and enmasse reject these opportunistic politician armed forces and judiciary nexus which is constantly working against them

Pakistan ko US ka tohfa .. Ek ke saath ek free .. Musharaf ke sath Benazir free.

Benazir talked a lot about improving relations with India while out of power .. let us see what she does in future (if she gets power !)

it is obvious for us and uk to support mr.mushhy
because they are opportunists and shameless buggers, here they are not talking about shariff, because they are least bothered about it. both of them have no real concern for pakistan they are only worried about their problems. they are nothing but chameleons.
