We take it for granted that our country should have been like America by now. Our leaders have done nothing. But we forget that in 1947 india had : 50 million refugees from partition. communal & regional violence all over. we had no infrastructure, industry, educational system. we had no food. No root for Democracy. No Constitution.
But thanks to all our leader from Gandhi, Nehru, patel, Advani, Indira, Vajpayee, Ambedkar, India Enterpreners, Indian defence people & scientific community
We have all of above now. We became self suffucient in food grains in first 20yrs of independence. We had IITs, IISC, IIM, Recs, ISRO etc in first 20 yrs. Huge steel plants, dams, roads were built soon after independence. We opened market in late eighties and r now regarded as fastest growing economis.
America or Europe took more than 100yr to have mature democracy and economy. Our Leaders & our people did very very good job in 60 yrs.
Lot has to be still achieved, but let us salute our leaders, enterpreners, scientists and defence people and not always curse them for doing nothing.
The Kashmiris have no reason to suffer. Rather they have the potential to be the best wealth-creators in India like Gujaratis. They are a superior race endowed with beauty and brain compared to those rebted mercenaries inflitrating from the border country with madrasa education and a kalshnikov, priamrily to subjugate and enslave them to stop from asserting themselves. These mercenaries have no tomorrows and ready to rot on steret after a stray bullet finishes their false and stupid verve. I am pretty hopeful that the new economic powerhouse of composite India will be in Kashmir. They need good leaders and it is time they turned thir back on Gilanis, Syeds and Mirwaizs or Mir Jafars.
Kashmris can unshackle their past and open a new chapter and be a Taiwan-kind of economic miracle.

Kashmir is not like rest of the place. It is the blood of India. Its climate is also one of the factors which may hinder development, like 1/2 yr snow, 1/2 yr summer.

Where does Advani figure in this list? Except creating trouble with his Ram Mandir, he did nothing. The only two people who were true leaders in your list are Patel and Indira Gandhi.

This is the problem with us, we r untankfull, One Gandhi pulled masses for independence, the other Indira pulled a spectacular victory against pakistan. And for Advani he played excellent role in opposition and as Home Minister.
Pls delete all Gandhi and the other Gandhi clan from the list ... THEY were the were responsible to all that is -ve right now in our country. ... one gave us a gift of partition to appease muslims and he others are still going on with it .... on and on.
